Thank youI'll take up the offer and disabuse you.
I'm not saying he was perfect but as others have said elsewhere his experienced head alongside Eky is like the Sourcerer and his Apprentice.
He made one awesome block that you can see for yourself on the Quest highlights.
Sorry that’s a load of Bollux. Happy now?Dare I mention Keogh? I was listening on Lancs and the reception wasn't good. Anyway, from what I heard, he was getting in the way and not playing well. Very happy to be disabused about this
Probably, although you sound as if you're on my case for some reason.Sorry that’s a load of Bollux. Happy now?
Of course not, sorry, poor attempt at humourProbably, although you sound as if you're on my case for some reason.
No probs, my over-sensitivity. Happy indeed!Of course not, sorry, poor attempt at humour
watched Bowler on numerous occassions just strolling back gives Jordan no help 90 percent of the timeVoy, he got no help from Bowler, same v Forest. Jordan covers inside as he should, but Bowler just won’t track. Numerous times today, including one shocker when he watched the LB run past him into the box. Contrast to Mitchell when he came on, who sprinted to get back behind the ball and cover.
On the other side it was Keshi helping Hubby.
Jordan is an exceptional prospect, learning, clearly loves the club and will only get better. We need to be solid all over and for me, Bowler is too much of a luxury with poor decision making and little composure. Keshi showed the way with that finish, Bowler had 2 or 3 of those at Hull and…
Mitchell and Keshi for me, with Bowler and Dale off the bench when needed.
Even more reason for Gabriel to get his defensive positioning sorted.watched Bowler on numerous occassions just strolling back gives Jordan no help 90 percent of the time
Not really. If we're ģoing up, he needs to improve. Gabriel had a great game and was a step up.
That was because they were overloading the left hand side, targeting the relative lack of pace there. They kept trying to run Keogh and ergo also Jimmy.Yet their main danger came down our left, their right, possibly because Husband didn't get that much support from Anderson, to be fair.
Think you are right. SU were coming in from different angles and their movement was impressive. Defence were genuinely hanging on at times but Keogh in particular looked vulnerable. Possibly lack of pace?Dare I mention Keogh? I was listening on Lancs and the reception wasn't good. Anyway, from what I heard, he was getting in the way and not playing well. I’m over the moon for Gabriel was so happy when we signed him. It looked like he would do well to get a start with Sterling’s performances but Gabriel has stood up and took his opportunity! Delighted for him!Hate to single out just one player in a performance like that... but Gabriel for me. So many good clearances/ headers/ passes.
I thought exactly the same Scar.I have to admit when Sterling came I couldn’t see Gabriel getting back in. But he was brilliant AGAIN yesterday.
This is where squad rotation comes in. We have another 2 games this week so I'd expect to see Sterling, Carey, Dale etc starting at least one of those games.I thought exactly the same Scar.
Sterling should be a starter, but where?
What a great headache to have.
Yes, he’s the captain. Young Grimshaw has done well and will have learned tons in his stand in role. But he’s just cover. This is where squad rotation comes in. We have another 2 games this week so I'd expect to see Sterling, Carey, Dale etc starting at least one of those games.
One interesting question - does Maxwell walk back in?
Not the same game i saw, we got pulled apart at times, but not individuals fault.Think you are right. SU were coming in from different angles and their movement was impressive. Defence were genuinely hanging on at times but Keogh in particular looked vulnerable. Possibly lack of pace?
Absolutely! His heart, soul, everything went into that performance. Doesn't alter the fact though that SU gave our defence an extremely stern examination, and all credit to them for that. Also all credit to the defence for hanging on in there.Richard Keogh
I know he isn’t everybody’s cup of tea, but he was outstanding today (well, technically yesterday, but I’ve not been to bed yet, so it’s today). He put his body on the line, led his defence well and threw himself in front of everything that came his way as well as making some great blocks. He...www.s24su.com
If Grimmy keeps Clean sheets every week he won’t be walking back in the side.Yes, he’s the captain. Young Grimshaw has done well and will have learned tons in his stand in role. But he’s just cover.
and it was going to be something very profound as well.Did you knock over your pint?
