Narcis Pelach

The fact they keep referring to Blackpool executives shows whoever wrote this hasn't a clue. We don't have any executives. We don't even have a director of football to recommend mangers. I doubt sadler has the time or knowledge to be identifying obscure manger targets like this guy.
A number of candidates had been identified before Badman left.

Absolutely, NO! There are some worried about the lack of experience of the 40 year-old Mr Dobbie and then, in the next breath, propose a 34 yo Spaniard who has been in England for less than three years ! Whose highest playing experience was two years for Figueres, along with a few other fourth tier Spanish clubs.

It's just nice to read (allegedly) that we have so many interested in the job & under consideration.
I'll leave it to SS to decide, but Dobbs is in a great position & if anyone else mention Judas, I swear I'll self combust 🤣. Avoid him at all cost Simon, as his appointment would split the fanbase & we don't want to be faced with that again.

I’m assuming the thinking is that he’s been at Girona so will have a link to the City ‘group’ globally.

Arsene Wenger had a very poor playing record indeed. Many excellent players make crappy coaches, Lampard and Gerrard being the most recent examples. It means nothing.

Seems to fit the SS preferred model. We hadn't even considered this guy, and it shows there may be other 'left field' candidates, rather than the names already mentioned

My main point is that Pelach has been in English football for less than three years. At our level that is important.
I am well aware that average to poor players can become good managers and vice versa. There are many more examples other than Wenger.

At this rate with every name being discounted SD is surely going to get the post - even if its by default as the only one left standing
