Neil Critchley on our horror show.

Can you imagine what Alex Ferguson, Warnock and other such managers would be like at half time?
The air would have been blue and the players quivering with fear.
Can't see Critchley reacting like that.
Maybe he should give it a try?

Hmmm, at this moment in time - Evo is looking like the better option..... this guy seems passionless!
Top of the league or not, a 1-4 drubbing at home doesn’t inspire confidence going forward.

NC is quickly running out of excuses

“I don’t think they’re getting what they deserve at the moment." You make that many mistakes, you get what you deserve!

I wonder what Fergie was doing in all those games for Man U at the start of his career there when the fans wanted his head and he was minutes from getting potted?
I think it was Mark Hughes winner that saved his job and the rest was history?

He needs to improve the overall display and quickly...another horror show at Crewe would not be helpful...I am hopeful we can get something there..if not our season is hitting the buffers before its even begun

First time I could bring myself to watch and listen. Don't think it's hard to summarise at all, Neil.
Telling them it's 0-0 at half-time and asking players to win the second half is motivational, but a) " Need to win it by 4, lads" might have been worth a try and b) they only drew it.
He keeps looking around warily, like a schoolboy who's broken the rules waiting for a clip round the ear from the headmaster.
If they're "hurting in there" I expect a positive reaction against his former club.

Like others I am worried, mainly because they aren't showing signs of learning from mistakes or improvement. However, I have always said you should give 10 to 12 games to judge someone. Review our progress then

I’m not convinced an under 23 coach would get that much time in and around the first team camp anyhow. I doubt Klopp talked his game plans out with Critch over the sauerkraut. He clearly did a good job at Liverpool but he was hardly Klopps Padawan of management.

You have to remember NC has never given a meaningful HT talk. Never had to give it the arm or the hairdryer, probably doesn't know his players well enough to know which to give individually or collectively.

And he has nobody to ask or get advice from who know the players.

Agreed. If he was so good, how come far bigger teams than us weren't in for him. Or were they?

Its the managers fault he is constantly changing the back 4 you need to play the same players together to get a good cohesive defensive unit.
