Netherlands v Argentina

How many Argies are banned against Croatia? No idea why the Dutch did not continue with lump it football in extra time
 
Isn't it fascinating how matches ebb and flow. When Holland scored their 1st they were all over Argentina, it was like the alamo they weren't in the game before that. In extra time Argentina were all over Holland in the last 10 mins it must be a mindset thing and why players like Henderson are good for England
 
The Dutch missed a decent chance with shitty tactics, Argentina were there to be beaten, they're the weakest team left in it, Morocco included, actually Portugal aren't great either, I honestly think the winners from our game will win the whole thing.

The Argies were unbeaten in 30+ games before this tournament and were favourites to win this too. So clearly not the weakest team. According to the bookies they were the strongest at the start and are still the strongest side left. I don't like them and I hope I'm wrong but IMO Croatia are a level below them.

Henderson won’t be able to keep up after 90 mins
 
The comeback went down very well in the Keswick pub we were in someone even said is your dog supporting Holland as he was in his tangerine attire. Obviously I wanted the Argies to get beaten along with everyone else in there. They were however the better side.

They're tedious and have won one game but they just keep getting through.

They always are though, same as Brazil, because their continental opposition is weaker than Europe.
 
That was the worst refereeing I can remember in an international, never mind in a world cup. The Argies should have been down to ten men, Messi got away with murder (not literally) and teh whole spectacle and game was ruined by an incompetent biased referee. He should be given a red card and banned from any other future international game.

I believe the Actors Union are in touch with the Argies to see if they have any players wishing to join them!!!

The Dutch though, in all fairness, blew it in extra time, letting the Argies regroup after fighting to get back in the game, only themselves to blame. Oh and for those wanting a larger keeper at Blackpool, note how slow a 6ft 8inch goalkeeper is at getting down.

The non-booking of Messi for that blatant hand ball was bizarre...and an indication that something wasn't quite right where this ref was concerned.
I'm pretty sure that a couple of years back, an English club has been on the wrong end of one of his performances in the CL.
