Ronaldo chose to challenge himself and prove himself in other top European leagues to prove he could do it and that he was a footballing great. Barcelona were never gonna get rid of Messi so god knows why you think that's relevant. Messi chose to stay in his comfort zone where he knew he was the best and just went through the motions knowing he was good enough to do that.

What bollocks, you don't stay in your comfort zone at a club like Barca. Why did Ronaldo leave Madrid? Not to "challenge" himself it because he didn't feel wanted (see a pattern) why did he leave Juve, was it for a "challenge" err no....

Only themselves to blame have Argentina since going 2-0 up they’ve just sat back and invited Holland to get back into the game.
They must feel completely deflated now after being a minute away from the semi finals.
