Next Seasons Shirt

I personally don't think it's a case of our kits faded to the lighter colour when the lighter colour is a widely accepted (possibly the most accepted) shade of Tangerine, that'd be some coincidence. The 60s top I have is a remake and they all come in the lighter shade of Tangerine, here how Toffs remake them - I suppose they must have modelled them on how they came out after a few washes 😉

You think I photoshopped images for the sake of a debate over the shade of Tangerine on a football forum? Bloody hell..

Here are the google image links for each image I've put on here, what a hilarious accusation that is:
Blackpool FC crest
tangerine tango pantone
Blackpool FC kit 20/21
Tangerine Pantone

It's a bit ridiculous really that you're making the claim that Blackpool fans AND retro kit manufacturers (who will have done their research) are wrong in their preference for the lighter Tangerine shade, because according to you that is just how they came out in the wash. Can we use some critical thinking here to realise that is a bit far fetched?

You're showing me kits almost 15 years apart there as well so doesn't exactly further your argument, I'm not claiming that no kit ever prior to the modern era has strayed from the lighter Tangerine, just that in my opinion the lighter Tangerine is our traditional colours and one we should stick to. It's the shade that exists within our badge (or did I photoshop that 🤭).

I'm unsure why I'm still engaging in this debate to be honest, if you're willing to go through the mental gymnastics required to conjure up I used photoshop to "colour match" a badge and tell someone they're categorically wrong about a colour because of a mug you own, it's doubtful we're going to reach a clean resolution is it?

It's always actually been 'orange' since the 1923/24 season when referee Albert Hargreaves recommended the colour after officiating a match between Holland and Belgium. Holland play in orange.
