No thread on Morroco v France?

yep, Morocco playing some nice stuff but don't look like scoring. France look dangerous every attack. So for me, it's only a matter of time before they score again.
 
Finished the half very well Morocco.

You'd expect France to stand firm and eventually put the game to bed, but who knows?
 
Strange team France, they just don't look that impressive to me but at the same time I think they're playing well within themselves - they only ever do what they have to which is what makes them a force. If Morocco equalised, watch France go and get two or three more.
 
That tackle by Amrabat was outstanding, what a tournament he's had.
If only we had a central midfield like him!!
 
I don't think France are anything special. In fact no team is that great, I think international football has been 2nd fiddle to club football in fans eyes but i see it in the players these days. Players would probably prefer to play for their respective clubs (unless you play for a lesser nation they seem to revel in it) managers would prefer to stay at club level, the England job is not the top job it was once deemed.
 
Great to watch them giving it such a go. Hope they get rewarded.

And now I'm turning into Chizzy, because for the second time in this match I'm ranting at a linesman. I know they're only obeying the law, not their fault, but I fail to see how it benefits when someone's off and play carries on for several seconds but you know it's going to stop. Happened to us at home last year, Grim ended up having to make a save at the feet of someone clean through, who was off. Either of them could have been badly hurt. Ridiculous rule.
 
Does any player ever get up straight away when they have been fouled or do you have to pull a stupid face and roll around?
 
Morocco dominated the start of second half but just sense France have got a foothold back in the game.

Big Ron on comms right about the use of subs to shift the momentum back. Obviously helps when you have the attacking players to do it.

yeah obviously not but I'd like to see it back. For me he was a foot ahead of the guy next to him so as Wiz said that guy in the middle must be playing him on.

Seemed legit at time even without the correct angle and the ball through deflected off a Morocco player
