I still feel our centre halves get too much of the ball in this system. They're all solid div 1 defenders but ball playing is not their strength. Don't like it at all.
 
Apart from that from a set piece we haven't created much at all, playing ok ik some ways but have got to find a way to get through more.

Dembele is ineffective so far.

They are on him immediately, not much support for him either. If we can pick it up a bit second half, maybe a couple of subs and we should really be winning this, our tempo seems slow to me though.
 
We've been poor here considering what's at stake. Need more than a big boot from the centre halves second half.
 
From the angle it comes down from the bar, it would have to be a cross shot from the far side to not have gone over the line. Looks more of a direct face-on strike so most likely did cross the line on impact with the floor.

Anyway, sides that go up overcome things like this.

Exactly. A wasted half of football.
 
Considering how much we need the 3pts, that was poor stuff. OK we've controlled the majority of the game but we are so slow, the movement is shocking and our inability to fashion a shooting opportunity makes it painful to watch at times. We need more from Gabriel, Dembele and Norburn in the 2nd half. This has 1-0 written all over it, can we for once be the one to edge a game away from home?

It's a comfort thing, a well drilled side in the passing style should be brave and more comfortable passing forward too.

Obviously they're sat in but it needs a precise pass, a decent touch and a bit of creativity.
 
Coulson looks the most lively so work him into crossing positions.Rhodes is getting nothing.Beesley running into the channels isn’t doing it for me
