Not great news for the Nobbers

Not his first major injury either. Regardless of rivalry, feel for the lad. Only young and trying to get his career going. Capped by England U15s all the way to U21s. Injuries haunting his career. Speedy and full recovery to him
Risky signing

Will be on decent money

Saw him on an interview came over really well / good luck with the recovery

A horrible injury for any footballer.
The one that kept Tony Green out here for 12 months.
Hopefully for the lad treatment has improved since then and I wish him well.

I don't get it, players get injured all the time and obviously you wouldn't wish it on anyone, but what the feck has that to do with BFC so why a thread on here i do not know!
Of all the posts on the first page of AVFTT it’s about 50% that are directly about BFC and the rest are random threads. You’re going to be busy this morning posting on all those random ones about their meaninglessness to BFC 😔

Nice to see some balanced comments & genuine concern. Even with rivalry, would not wish injuries on other teams players. Hope you guys have better luck than us!
Well last season we had almost all of our best players out for several weeks at some point, and at times we had at least half a dozen out simultaneously. It's a minor miracle we did as well as we did!

Exactly, rivalry should stick to bragging rights after we play, or laughing at each other when things go belly up. For a young player who has come back from serious injury only to have an achilles go, he's a real person and anything other than concern for him would be ridiculous. I hope he gets back quickly and goes on to have a long successful career (after he moves on :) ).

What a silly reply. Wakey,wakey,
they are our rivals and losing a key player is bad news for them
The likes of Curryman giving a like to his response when he had just posted a brexit thread about Spain and Gibraltar on here.
Come on

I do wish the player well

So sad when young players get injuries like this - Virtue seems in the same boat and once they have them they rarely come back to any form.
