O/T Emma Raducanu.

This is her big chance & she needs to take it. None of the she’s done well to get this far & will be more established in the future. Just like the Pool we had our chance & took it, nobody knows what will happen next time, she might get knocked out early. Terrific achievement on her behalf & although I’ve only seen snippets, she’s a talented youngster. Whatever her nationality I’ll be shouting for her.
As long as she doesn’t see the winning post & stays totally focused, that’s the hard bit IMHO.

She’s lived here since she was two so probably doesn’t remember a time when she didn’t live here. Why would she then feel anything other than British?

She has also come through the British tennis system from a young age and represents Great Britain.

The most important thing is she decided she was British having lived here for 95% of her life.

Future British champion even if she doesn't get it done this weekend.
 
Anyone know what channel it's on today? Just flicked through my TV guide and couldn't see any mention of it.

Impossible to predict the outcome of this match. Both players are new at this level and both have shown terrific form in their matches leading up to the final. According to the stats, teenagers who have reached grand slam finals have mostly gone onto win multiple major tournaments. So win or lose today this will most likely be just the start of a long and successful career for both of them. Just need to stay healthy, pace themselves and keep away from injury. Good luck Emma. I’ll be shouting at the tele and cheering you on.

It’s a win-win all round.
British tennis gets a donation, we all get to see the match, and I imagine C4 will recoup their payment from the adverts.

After every round the experts have been saying that her next opponent will be a big step up for her. It made no difference she beat them all with apparent ease.
Ironically now she's reached the final against another talented teenager they are all saying it's evenly matched.
Great to see that CH 4 have given free access to all by the way.
Come on Emma...there should be a massive audience for this one tonight.
