Through to the last 16 in the US Tennis Open playing Selby Rogers....Live on Prime from 7pm tonight.
If she gets anywhere near the level she reached in the last round it could be a great watch.
 
I wonder whether she will be without the same mental tension this time as she's in the States and she's getting more used to the attention.

I hope so for her sake, as without downplaying her achievements so far, she's got bags of potential.

Great performance. Completely outclassed 6-2, 6-1 the highest ranked player she has beaten so far. She will be really climbing the rankings at this rate. Really cool head and excellent all round game
 
Her power off the ground is amazing. Against Rogers the commentator said about a clean winner, return of serve down the line - did it bolox go down the line. It was central and that fast it went under the server's raquet while she was still recovering from her service action.

And Dodgy, yep she's a bonny lass. And she looks genuinely happy to be out there playing and enjoying herself. Great to see.
 
Crazy to think she has gone 338 rank before Wimbledon, to provisional 75, and depending how far she gets could be British no.1 by the end of the tournament!
 
I watched her 3rd round demolition job feeling stunned throughout the match. IMO she did not play as well in the 4th round, possibly due to her opponent and playing on the biggest stage in world tennis for the first time, but still won with a crushing score line. As they say, one match at a time. Her next opponent will be the toughest she’s faced so far, Belinda Bencic who recently won gold at the Olympics and is the highest ranked player Emma will have faced. Another match I will be sure to watch.
 
Plays her quarter final today starting at 5pm BST, tough game for her so a real test but wouldn’t be surprised if she pulled off a shock win. Good luck Emma 👏👏
 
There was a thread about her on here a while ago. Dollar Thief was claiming she should not be known as British because she isn't pure Anglo Saxon, or something like that.
 
It'd be an enormous scalp this one if she were to win
