I was told in The D&P after the game at 6:30 that MM had gone. Apparently the info was sent to certain people by someone from the club. Was also told the club is 100% up for sale.
My lads didn't believe me because the club hadn't made a statement, too many leaks ?

I'm just saying it appeared to be common knowledge in the Dog and Partridge at 6:30 pm last night that McCarthy had gone. I'm not saying I'm in the know, just what appeared to be common knowledge.

The club seems to be leaking information after a spell of nothing coming out.

It's not rocket science how quickly the news spread from somewhere on Bloomfield Rd to another pub on Lytham Rd an hour later. Some people don't stop in the same pub all night and do bring their stories with them.

Good. And I mean that in the best of ways. I think he thought it was a great idea but absolutely no idea what he was letting himself in for and wasn't equipped to run the club. There's no shame in that, we have all done things for the right intentions but fucked them up, it happens. If he wants to sell then I hope he gets hs money back and he can start enjoying the game again just as a supporter. I also hope we get someone who is obscenely, filthy rich!! :)

It's not ITK, I'm stating a fact that certain people were made aware that MM had gone and that story spread to at least the D&P by 6:30.



As Corleone stated 100% true and to be honest it was a shock, if he didn't get potted after Preston, my presumption was he was here for the season.
 
The MSG were informed Thursday evening of MM departure. MSG committee held to secrecy until 17-15 yesterday, so let the cat out the bag at said time.

absolute rubbish , i spoke to simon myself today and he said categorically that he was there for the long haul and had no intention of looking for a buyer , investors yes but buyers no.
