But no one knows that until they try. The point is the poster didn’t check first. But there obviously not good enough.

That’s fair enough but seriously if they had them on for the Burton game and it got called off I think Saturdays game was always going to be foregone conclusion they simply can’t cope with the cold conditions. But no one knows that until they try. The point is the poster didn’t check first.
And there was me thinking that whole league was suspendedNo , opposition can't afford to travel apparently!
I agree it’s not enough. However my point was the poster made it sound as though no effort had been made, it had, but obviously not enough. That’s fair enough but seriously if they had them on for the Burton game and it got called off I think Saturdays game was always going to be foregone conclusion they simply can’t cope with the cold conditions.
We were the only league 1 game off on Tuesday night and we’re one of only 2 called off for tomorrow (as it stands) which doesn’t sound very good at all I’am afraid and has to be looked in to.
Yep good point, it’s sounds like a lots been done but sadly for some reason it wasn’t enough.I agree it’s not enough. However my point was the poster made it sound as though no effort had been made, it had, but obviously not enough.
Ooooh. Get you. They have had hot air blowers on since Tuesday. Check your facts before throwing aspersions about.
Not spending enough on the ground etc, everyones an Owner!Saturday after a defeat, everyones a football manager.
Games getting called off for the weather, everyones a groundsman!!
I see Jabba is jabbering shite again
I agree not enough was done, however your post made it sound as if nothing was done. It was but as we both agree not enough.Ooooh. Get you.
Well given there was only one small patch to the left of the penalty area on Tues evening, did the covers not go straight back on? The blowers must have the heat output of a candle. Not like it was frozen solid on Tuesday given it could & should have gone ahead.
No match because they're gay?Just come out on BBC
Not everyone just a minoritySaturday after a defeat, everyones a football manager.

Blame Covid and their being fuck all to do apart from moan on a football forum. All they have to do is tap into this board and they'll get plenty of hot air and advice. Unbelievable.
I've been a member of, and supporter of the various Blackpool fans boards since their inception, and they used to be good fun, informative and occasionally miserable. NOW, the AVFTT side is all moans and groans, and yes that's what I'm doing, and the Politics side is like a cabal with distinct lines in the sand of those who post on it.
I'm becoming rather sick and tired of it all and although no one will have noticed I rarely, now, add my ten penneth to most of the threads and probably won't do for some time.
I did some volunteering for the post Catweazle/Bowlhead era comeback game and ended up on covers duty. Trying to cover the worst bits of a soaking wet mudbath of a pitch with a few scratty bits of cloth is something that will live long in the memory. What covers were available were mouldy and full of dead snails. In the corner under the SE exit there were also some ancient looking pitch lights that looked like a relic from WW1Anybody know how old the covers are? I know Koko bought one lot from Ipswich. I'm sure new covers would have better technology and be more efficient. Feel a bit sorry for the groundsman in all this
We really are going backwards.Just come out on BBC
It was a bit of banter pal, that's allNot everyone just a minority
Stands equals shade.I don’t know what’s going on at Bloomfield road these days with frozen pitches especially following Fleetwood’s game going ahead on Tuesday night but AFC Fylde’ game is still showing it’s on for tomorrow?
What are we doing wrong?
Fleetwood get the game on because none of the pitch is in shade because the stands are literally 10 feet high.“How come Fleetwood could get there game on but we can’t?” is actually laughable.
The difference is Fleetwood & Doncaster were two teams that BOTH wanted to play their game.
Burton weren’t interested in playing - they’re fighting for their lives and the more time off they have to integrate their new signings the more chance they have of picking up points. Do people actually believe the pitch was playable at 18:00, and then within the space of 50 minutes became so frozen that players were slipping on it (all whilst they were out warming up)?
It’s nothing to do with the weather though.Oh, and Fylde arent playing tomorrow. Game off.
Arabs have a lot more money. A hell of a lot more.Seriously poor form.
Some Arab nation have a rocket going to Mars and BFC cant come up with a solution for a bit cold of grass FFS.
What bollocks, as has been said till it has been battered, the issue was not the call off.So ,hang your heads in shame all those who slagged Burton and the referee on Tuesday night.
Arabs have a lot more money. A hell of a lot more.
True enough, and the weather has been worse since Tuesday with a prolonged cold spell getting deep into the ground. What bollocks, as has been said till it has been battered, the issue was not the call off.
