Again Picked a team to lose!
Whatever happens weve undervalued the end of the season
Management have let fans down massively
Do they realise the importance of finishing above the Nobbers and ending the season on a high?
Hopefully majority of this team won’t feature next season
Again just don’t understand team selection especially CJ who doesn’t even compete!!

We've done much better in the past whilst still having the lowest budget.
 
When you see the amount of injuries we've had, plus players missing its a miracle weve done so well.

If Peterborough played us every week they wouldn’t be relegated.

It’s not a dead rubber if we were to finish above the nobbers.

Two games thrown away against relegated teams.

Embarrassing to finish the season like this 😳🙄

Except when we beat them 3-1 at home? When we got results when they mattered?
 
I really hope Critch shows us that he's got a ruthless streak and that we make some real changes as we prepare for next season.
 
I think its pretty clear the squad needs strengthening considerably this summer. Looked like Keogh was waving goodbye to me
 
missing dougall in midfield to be honest. Dale's being knocked off the ball too easily as is hamilton. Connolly and Garbutt being pegged back so not really helping out the two wide men. might be better to switch the wingers around,
 
These last 2 performances have been clueless. No quality, especially today.

Poor touches, misplaced passes, going back from promising positions, when someone's puts a long ball in we just head it aimlessly forward, hardly ever to a man.

The pressing has looked ineffective and not in sync.

We have too many like Stewart who havent played in ages, Carey is rusty. Thats the midfield engine not firing.

Too many players missing.

What a let down.

We haven’t played the ‘full’ team for a few games now. As I say, it’s their choice to travel to the game.

The excellent results and points tally we have achieved this season has given the manager this opportunity to look at the squad players over a longer period, and some of them have shown themselves to not be good enough.

If this was our full strength first choice players losing to Peterborough in October I’d be concerned. But it’s not so I’m not.
 
Critchley expected an easy win and a chance to showcase the youth team. He read that wrong.

There's not much on the bench to change this. I'm hoping he's got a hair-dryer half-time talk which can wake them up!

We've little chance of finishing above the nobbers now, but we still want a win. Come on the Pool 🍊
 
I always think some players look physically weak. They get out muscled too easily. Perhaps they need to spend the summer in the gym bulking up a bit

You said if he's the answer you don't know what the Q is. Which seems poor to me, unnecessary. He was shaping up well prior to injury and is just getting some pitch time today. I think he's more likely to be playing for us next season than Ward - and I like Ward.
 
Agree it's important to have a look at fringe players, or those returning from injury
Don't give a toss about finishing above the nobbers, unless we were on the verge of the playoffs, or we were 21st. and them 22nd.
More concerned that NC refutes the claim he's saving JB from the threat of injury before he leaves us.
Shame the season finishes with my belief (and it might only be mine) that the Head Coach, who we all agree is doing a fantastic job, feels he needs to lie to us.

Moan moan feckin moan that 11 is good enough to win this game and hopefully still will, get a look at some of the youngsters a good idea! If we lose que sera. The future is bright the future is tangerine 🍊 UTMP

Some people are overly romantic about players stepping up from either league 2 or lower.....for every Alex Baptiste there’s a Richie Bond or a Keith Russell
 
Just seen their goal again, how easily were we caught out, then maxwell was easily rounded, Ekpiteta steaming back and gets done by a simple turn and falls down.

So poor.
 
I can give a pass to 3 or 4 players today. Either they are proven good enough or are just coming back from injury. I can't be so kind about the rest of them though as it's cementing the fact they are not good enough to be here and what's worse is they don't look too bothered about changing that either.
 
Watched an interview with critchley before the game, he said we was going to try and win the game and sign off the season on a high. I can’t see any effort out there today it’s utter garbage. I was going to have a nap after the game if it carries on like the first half I’ll nod off during the second. Rubbish.

For me we are a bit too invested into the critch is magic and finding gems strategy. Do it yes and find gems but not each time.

There's only so many you can pluck from non league and league 2.
 
Posh have played well first half. Can't argue with the scoreline. Lets turn it round 2nd half
 
I understand some disappointment at our end to the season but some people seem to take it too much to heart. I'm not that bothered personally - which is easy to ay when i haven't travelled, but those who did travel did so knowing it's a dead rubber really, and players would be tried out etc. It's a jolly in all truth, a day out. We aren't the only team that hasn't turned up today. Let's not get all angry and worked up about it, we've hit 60 points with one of the lowest budgets, if not the lowest. It's been a great effort. Let's look forward to next season.

Kenny is one of those key players whose importance to the team becomes all the more clear when he's not playing.

What's the alternative? Spending money we don't have?
 
Bit of hope 2-1 nobbers, however this biggest issue is us winning this game. Looks no chance so far.
