Like many diseases in history it can have an official name and a local colloquial name at the same time. As Boris Johnson's hubris and negligence allowed it to let rip through the nation it is an entirely appropriate name for the delta variant in the UK.

Of course I will apologise to both you and Cat when you provide the evidence ( at the time I posted post 52 on this thread )that the term Johnson Variant is an internationally recognised term for Covid. Does the WHO refer to it using that term? Haven’t been on this board for a while and you will pleased to know I will only post on the football side from now on(unfortunately I have personal issues)As many ex Labour ( and potential) Voters have said .. we’re not educated like the party hierarchy and activists , we’re not clever with words BUT we do have a vote.. so if Labour want to prosper, please stop treating us like we’re stupid.
