Playoffs

Not out of the question with 3 or 4 wins are they?

Squad looking decent now, shame we didn't have these options in the summer

Better late than never I guess

That's 4 in now with I believe one more

All aboard the Appybus ....
The division is incredibly tight. Nobbers went from 4th to 15th after consecutive losses. WBA and Coventry have rocketed up the table with a few wins.

*If* Appleton can sort the defence out and *if* we can bring in a powerful and athletic midfielder or two then this squad is more than good enough for a run at the playoffs.

AND if Appleton can do that I’ll owe him an apology, I’ll doff my cap to a few on here who supported him all along and I’ll send you Phil a selection of Lancaster’s finest ales as I’ve argued with you most.

Would settle swapping them draws into wins and a win Saturday.

Great time to play Watford with all their injuries (unless they do some business this week). Come on the pool

But...... it is a tight tight league

Anyone interested in a punt on Pool to make the play offs we are still in excess of 200/1. Bookies not woken up yet to the possibilities in the excellent incoming business of the last week or so.

To finish in the top half of the table is available at 33/1. In my book that's a top value bet. Will get a good run for the rest of the season in my view.

More importantly the lads can make positive strides to sunnier pastures. Should be quite a ride.

Baby steps Phil. Priority 1, make sure we stay in this division. Priority 2, make sure we've got a tight-knitted squad ready to go for the next campaign. Anything beyond that is gravy.

If we make the play offs this year it would be material for a Hollywood film 😂 I just want to see us out of that bottom 3 with a few points to spare. Then seriously look at the squad for a better start next season with some development off the pitch as well. Glad to be proven wrong but cannot see it happening.

We have 20 games left. I can see us winning 10 of those, drawing 4 and losing 6. Which strangely, would give us the same number of wins, draws, defeats and points as last season. So the chances of that happening are slight but it's something to aim for and a bit more realistic than making the playoffs.

Going to Watford on Saturday? Let's see how discontented over a thousand are to travel that far to watch a lack of quality.

Fuck going to Watford. Watford is always a nice fixture for the exiles.

Might go to the next home game as the return of Bowler should allow to watch footballers play football in their correct positions.

No reason why we can't climb this league and it is pretty clear the board have backed Appleton. Plus I'll be out of the country the whole of Feb so that's guaranteed 100 percent wins 😗

Nice to see some positivity on this board, it's been a while.
We've done better in the first 10 days of this transfer window than we did in three months in the summer.
Lyons, Bowler, Rogers and Trybull should all make a considerable difference assuming they can stay injury free.

Realistic success from here would be really competing in the next 20 games and finishing the season with momentum going into the summer window.

Where’s the 33/1 on offer

Love your positivity Phil but not a chance in hell we can get anywhere near the play offs, mid table respectability will do for me just fine.
Same here, we still don't have a play off squad by any means and I'm still not convinced by Appleton.

Let's see how he gets on with no excuses.
