anyone got 2 spare tickets in North stand for game. Adult and child . ?
Just buy in the north side and go and stand in the north. Still a few available in the north side of the ground.anyone got 2 spare tickets in North stand for game. Adult and child . ?
I think it's a certainty. With Preston fans exiting at the north end they can't walk through home supporters in the same area , and with the chaos outside the South last year , they aren't going to revert to letting them out there either .Looks like we may have a completely empty north section of the East.
Yes I'll wait and see if any come up if not do the south stand and walk around. CheersWell there's no other actual cheaper seats that side unless you do what I mentioned.
Could always do it from the south side and get round via block m.
Probably better waiting for tickets to come up in the north, they do if you check regularly enough as people swap etc.
They should hold the nobbers in for half hr like they did with usI think it's a certainty. That's a good point tbf. Doubt the North end of theast will go on sale even if we sell the rest.I think it's a certainty. It should do, if we get to that and we are a late buying fanbase.... they seemed to suggest we would sell to our own fans so we'll see. That's a good point tbf. Doubt the North end of theast will go on sale even if we sell the rest.
Are we doing anything to actually sell and promote this?It should do, if we get to that and we are a late buying fanbase.... they seemed to suggest we would sell to our own fans so we'll see.
Not really, just the usual announcement on social media platforms, no tickets on sale early, no real promotional videos, not a great lot really. Are we doing anything to actually sell and promote this?
I’ve not seen much?
Don’t get the strategy at all.Not really, just the usual announcement on social media platforms, no tickets on sale early, no real promotional videos, not a great lot really.
We could really be pushing this.
It seems very minimal.Don’t get the strategy at all.
It’s bizarre, makes me wonder do they want to have us in the East?
Currently the odd one in 2 blocks of the north side that isn't higher priced.Yes I'll wait and see if any come up if not do the south stand and walk around. Cheers
What would you like to see that we aren't currently doing?Strange when they're getting sponsors for every brick in the building and every blade of grass on the pitch to maximise revenue, there's hardly any effort to actually sell tickets.
More advertising for match days to encourage new fans via a leaflet drop for exampleWhat would you like to see that we aren't currently doing?
I have my own views but just wondered what others thought.

Well there are rules for memberships, but if it was included in the ST price that might be the way round that, but of course then its almost pointless for many as people will just get ST holders to do it. So I can't see that happening if its allowed. Two things that would help immediately and significantly:
1. Allow season ticket holders to buy non-members tickets on their behalf, but with the £5 discount
2. Stop restricting tickets to people with a previous purchase history. Do other clubs do this constantly? Serious question btw, I don't know the answer. But given that other much bigger derbies can get away with one line of stewards between fans and we have to have half a stadium between us, I can't help thinking that we're allowing the police to dictate policy that's detrimental to the club so they can have an easy ride, as they've no idea how to police a matchday properly. They've a lot to answer for.
They could also try advertising on things other than twitter.
