Mark Taylor has to be my No 1. A free from Hartlepool I think.
Brett went from someone, when one on one, you wouldn't break stride to go to the bar, to a lethal finisher.Feel free to punch me in the face but I never thought Brett was going to be the player he was when he came back, I thought another broken leg was too much, shows how much I know.
We said at the time that as soon as Brett could finish- he's off.Brett went from someone, when one on one, you wouldn't break stride to go to the bar, to a lethal finisher.
Definitely very unlucky with the injury he got. Different player after his knee got done. Sure he would have gone on to bigger things. And not just in the physio world...Mark Taylor has to be my No 1. A free from Hartlepool I think.
Same for me and so cruel to get a career-ending injury.Mark Taylor has to be my No 1. A free from Hartlepool I think.

Just want to reiterate the point about Mark Taylor. Skilful, pacy, combative, great shot, could mix it when necessary. I used to love watching him from the West Paddock. Definitely an unsung hero, and one of my favourite players.Mark Taylor has to be my No 1. A free from Hartlepool I think.
I can remember a game where he was on for a hat trick, shot on the half volley from the edge of the box, I'd say same place as Richard Walker's header v PA, it bounced on the pen spot, over the keepers head and came back off the bar. I was gutted for him.Just want to reiterate the point about Mark Taylor. Skilful, pacy, combative, great shot, could mix it when necessary. I used to love watching him from the West Paddock.
