Poor attendance

£20 for Championship football are some of you insane,I agree 28 is too much but would dropping to 25 make that much difference?

It is what it is Blackpool can rustle up 15k for a special homecoming match then normal service is resumed the next game we simply don't have a hardcore who would shell out or we'd had sold more Season Tickets.

We're not a big club yet, give it time. Crowds are up, but still a long way to go.
Also, off the pitch we are league 2 by some distance.

Start from the bottom and work up, that's the way to do it.

Quite a few spaces in M block. Why was the south east empty?
Because they don’t sell tickets there unless it is going to be a full house and quite frankly have you ever sat there...it is the worst bit of the ground especially as you get nearer the “ away side”...the view is as bad as the away section at Goodison and that takes some doing.

10k home fans is decent
It’s a little lower than I was expecting that said
Walk up costs are too high
Yeah little bit disappointed and I don’t read too much into excuses like covid and holidays ect because it’s the same for everyone. But we still make the noise of double what’s in the ground.

Fans with Covid or self-isolating stayed away; fans off on holiday; fans getting married (and their guests)...;)
Don’t forget fans working. Blackpool is a 24/7 town in summer. There will always be a % of our fan base who can’t make certain games due to work commitments. I think under the current circumstances that was a good gate.

It’s also August and people are away on holiday(admittedly maybe not as much as normal ) and Blackpool is still a town that has an important tourist based economy which means people are working.
I thought today’s crowd was pretty decent personally.

oh and the “Bardiff” fan watching from the hotel room In V Block was not Exactly the brightest of people, though our own village idiot in the next door block superseded him.😉

so what was all that shite banded about on social media saying we are 900 off a home sell out ? that said, a little disappointed in the gate but atmosphere from the Kop and part of the west was brilliant.

Is the South the new West? 😜🤪

That same shirt is £70 in Man City’s store and it’s exactly the same bar the sponsor and club badge difference. You realise that the pandemic has vastly increased costs such as shipping globally etc.....

No....plenty of support from the South....and West...and even the North😉😉

We just needed a goal to get the whole place rocking😳

it was a fishing expedition bleach, all round decent support and agree a goal for us would have further lifted the place.

We get what we get. At 6pm ish there were a load of young lads wetting their pants because the Scousers had apparently scored against Norwich. Way too many plastics in this town sucking on the diseased teat of the premier league. Lets just enjoy what we have for what it is and not worry about who isn't prepared to sign up for real football.

How many did Cardiff bring, it was defo less than boro.

I can't seem to find the breakdown of the home and away crowd....why do we do this? Should be a simple figure to provide.

What I dont get is it seems most the 3 sides were full, so should have been about 9900 maybe. But the balconies didn't look full, maybe high prices there have meant not great sales?

Unless they don't count ST holders who don't attend.

I still don't get why the club aren't opening up all the stands to home fans so people can space out a bit more. Instead they are squeezing the home support together in 3 stands (1.5 stands against Middlesbrough).

We've just had 18 months of social distancing in every aspect of our lives and now are expecting all fans to be comfortable being squashed together whilst leaving half the length of one side completely empty. There will be a number of people who are still cautious about Covid, maybe those in the vulnerable age groups, who might have been tempted had more space been provided. One for the club to think about.
