Can't help feeling you're being a little over-selective there. Absolutely piss-poor on all fronts, if we're honest.it all stems from a poor defence - can’t deal with pace or height .. utter shambles
Tactics!!Agreed seems we have spoilt fans .. I remember worthington etc .. awful football. However I did have a certain expectation this season .. and so far we simply haven’t been good enough
I'm generally Mr Positive but I'm struggling to find a positive after the last 2 games. It's simply not the case is it? The two we had last season were worse, before we even bother to think back a bit, to Hendry etc. Weve currently got the best home form in the division. We've had loads that were worse.
Would give me some hopeOur dog's called Debbie....Will she help?
Sadler needs to pay more attention to the playing side and less on analysts, head of this head of that. Promises of new TG? East Stand. All important perhaps but if nobody is going, whats the point?Running the club is important , but there’s a fine line in keeping fans happy and there expectations happy
You're consistently wrong.
We haven't been good enough and i questioned the wisdom of bringing him back at the time, it was never going to be straight forward for him to fit back in. But in difficult times it's important to be hnest and not just to vilify and only see the bad stuff and blame it all on one guy. You don't make progress through purely emotional knee jerk analysis. We have the best home form in the league! How the fuck is that happening with such a shit manager?! What's the answer? I don't know. I would have preferred Dobbie but it wasn't my decision or my money. The mix of players isn't right. Critchley is making mistakes too and he is repeating them every game. He hasn't tried anthing different away from home, really. the wing backs aren't good enough, so why stick with such a wing back dependent system? He deserves criticism.Agreed seems we have spoilt fans .. I remember worthington etc .. awful football. However I did have a certain expectation this season .. and so far we simply haven’t been good enough
He's not the worst, but he's as bad as all the others Sadler has appointed since he bought the club with the exception of McCarthy. Critchley is not a football league manager, he's a coach who needs to be bringing on your EPL players like he was before. He got us promoted but a lot of that was down to a very experienced assistant. You just have to sometimes say, :I got it wrong" and Sadler needs to be telling himself that because a loss on New Years day at home will be the end anyway. You're consistently wrong.
I agree. things are not right.I'm generally Mr Positive but I'm struggling to find a positive after the last 2 games.
If Critch stays, and I can't honestly see him going, then he needs to take a long hard look at himself. He is stubborn but he's not stupid so he needs to accept that something needs to change.
He's also got to hope the recruitment team have some decent reinforcements lined up.
Like this , u must be sane age or nearly as me , loved King BillyWe never used to be able to buy a win away under Billy Ayre and had great home form, but it was never due to the manager being deliberately obtusive in his selections and tactics nor was it that the players weren’t playing for their manager. It was because we just didn’t have the quality players, but we made the most of what we had and we battled. And the manager was honest with us.
Critchley has the players and he’s just giving us no chance game after game.
That is NOT what I have been saying. Not really. I've been saying this formation is wank all season whilst you and others have been saying oh look it's so pretty, it's going to work etc.
Just to gauge your last sentence, how old are you ATG?No this Critchley era is the worst. Those managers had nothing to play with. Critchley has some alright players and he is sticking with failed tactics.
This is by far the worst manager in my lifetime.
Don't lie. You've loved Critchley trying to turn Connolly into Trent Alexander. That is NOT what I have been saying.
You have a memory like a sieve. His first two seasons were highly successful. Plus, we have the best home form in the division. He's not the worst, but he's as bad as all the others Sadler has appointed since he bought the club with the exception of McCarthy. Very funny. I went berserk when the first team of the season was announced, because of the wing back choices.Don't lie. You've loved Critchley trying to turn Connolly into Trent Alexander.
Can you imagine what would have awaited the players in that dressing room tonight after that shit show?Like this , u must be sane age or nearly as me , loved King Billy
Sam Ellis was my first managerJust to gauge your last sentence, how old are you ATG?
Q - Doctor, doctor - there's a Blackpool fan here showing worrying symptons of delerium. What should we do?Right last score prediction... went for 0-3.... then changed it to 1-3.... 2-3.... now going for 3-3... what a finish we are in for lads
A bloomin outstanding schoolkid being chased by half a dozen Prem n Championship teamsFfs. Shite formation, slow play, CJ pocketed by a 16 Yr old school kid, Thompson being Thompson. Sh1t
He did look good tbfA bloomin outstanding schoolkid being chased by half a dozen Prem n Championship teams
He was successful, in my opinion because he had 2 experienced coaches. The writing was on the wall for me towards the end of his second season, he had hit a wall and without help, which he hasn't got now he is struggling. He may have the best home form but he has the worst away form so they sort of equal each other out. It looks like the players hate his tactics, the supporters have turned on him and it can go one of 3 ways, it carries on like this, he sorts out the away form or we lose the home form, but how long do you give him? Give him to the end of the season and if it carries on or gets worse the damage will be greater. I don't think Sadler will get rid to save face but for me, he should if we do badly in the next 2 games. You have a memory like a sieve. His first two seasons were highly successful. Plus, we have the best home form in the division.
Again another issue in today’s game , mangers or coaches can’t shout and scream at players they end up woking about itCan you imagine what would have awaited the players in that dressing room tonight after that shit show?
We need to be careful of relegationLeague season is looking over. We need to concentrate on the cup.
Ah, so you will have seen some garbage then. You'll have just missed Ball from memory, possibly Mullen and Carr, but you'll have seen the struggle at the bottom of Div3? Sam Ellis once said to me that the club was stopping the free parking on the Tangerine car park to ST holders as well as the match day programme in order to save money and stop the club going under - really crap days. So yeah, critch is operating within a totally different financial framework and a far better squad to those days, so I see your point.Sam Ellis was my first manager
What Critchley is doing now with this formation and tactics is by far the most hideous thing I have ever seen and the least thing I can relate to out of all the previous Blackpool managers.
i said a couple of weeks ago we could afford to lose two more games - weve lost them. im not even convinced at the moment we can make the playoffs, which is criminal cos i think critchley has one of the best squads in the league, he either cant motivate them or just doesnt know what to do with them.Automatic promotion's looking a tall order.
I’ve been to both and it’s my birthday tomorrow too so I should get a double refund!Any fan that went to Burton and port vale away should be refunded by the players, 2 away trips just after Christmas for those 2 performances is unacceptable and since they have no bollocks on the pitch they should have some bollocks off it and refund every fan for both tickets. Spineless tvvats
Predictably shite. There is nothing worse. It was only 16 miles up the road for me tonight I just couldn’t bring myself to do it I knew we’d get beat, beaten not so badly but I just felt it. 3 shots on target I think two of them first half you just knew we’d fold after that first one went in

If it results in Critches' departure - probably high-5s all-round, I would guessCan you imagine what would have awaited the players in that dressing room tonight after that shit show?
I can't help thinking, in terms of your assessment, you're being a little wide of the mark there. Basically, SS has been more than a little generous in the leeway he has shown Critch during his second spell in charge, and we have still yet to see signs of meaningful change or improvement out on the pitch. For the game against Port Vale spirits had clearly reached a new low and, as fans made their way from the ground shortly after the final whistle had been blown, you just got a distinct sense this was to be Critchley's final hurrah, or that the long-awaited death knell would soon be ringing out. Critchley has been granted a little more time than a great many had expected, and you sense now, his departure really can't come soon enough. He was successful, in my opinion because he had 2 experienced coaches. They would probably go home and cry to their mums. But on the way they would find time to employ a no win no fee firm of sharks to seek compo for bullying and hurt feelings.Again another issue in today’s game , mangers or coaches can’t shout and scream at players they end up woking about it

I think there are supporters who think we should be beating 'teams like this' which is an entitled point of view.Do the Brain's Trust on here still think we're being entitled for expecting us to perform better against Cambridge, Burton Albion and Port Vale?
