Port Vale v Blackpool Official Matchnight Thread 29.12.23

Predictable, if they get a goal we know what comes next, too many back passes when forward pass is clearly on, just give it to dembele ( who on at least one occasion was in a decent bit of space a Norburn) passed it back . And there it is they just scored

What's happened to Hubby this last few games? Also Norburn is just far too slow on the ball and he passes behind team mates all the time, not convinced by him. Other than that the others are doing okay particularly Thommo and Connolly doing okay too. CJ will frighten the life out of their 16 year old you would hope.
Given that he never fails to scare the living daylights out of this 61yr-old Pool fan, I can't see him having too much trouble unsettling some untried young whipper-snapper defender from the Potteries ...

Utter shite .. stand by for the Critchley excuses! Poor defending blah blah blah!
Don't expect any taking of responsibility because he's incapable of that. Our ponderous approach allows these busy teams to get all around us. Totally outdone in midfield as is becoming usual.

Was it Connelly just before too who could have played it first time into CJ, but hesitated and eventually played it to him once their defender was next to him.

Play it early he might be able to get in behind, hesitate and there's nothing on.

Never thought I’d feel again like I did when Lee Clark was in charge which is I’d laugh when we conceded, but I just found myself giving out a little guffaw.
We’re back to pulling the plaster - but Sadler won’t want to be proved wrong again and so nothing will change.
