Port Vale v Blackpool Official Matchnight Thread 29.12.23

I was watching that cross coming in thinking there you go Grimmy go get it. And he just stood there flat footed on his line. It was proper schoolboy stuff.

It's embarrassing they are so far off it.

Right last score prediction... went for 0-3.... then changed it to 1-3.... 2-3.... now going for 3-3... what a finish we are in for lads 🤔

'One of the best squads in the division'

Either that's wrong or the manager is failing so badly.

The home form suggests quality is there.

Get another manager in ASAP so he can have a transfer window and get some players of his own in straight away.
I think you give it to Dobbie as caretaker, give him the window unless there is someone screaming out to be manager and give this season up and build for next season.

3 now, absolutely pathetic, I wonder if Gary Bowyer is rubbing his hands together thinking there is an opening? Bowyer and Dobbie? Or do we go for someone completely new?

I was optimistic at the start - looking at this I can’t really see why now.

What is the definition of insanity - anyone??

Port Vale clinical - not the most frequent of phrases.

Bowyer & Debbie sounds good to me!

I'd take either of them. I wanted Dobbie in the summer, forget his experience levels, he understands the club, the fans and the players all seemed to love him when he took over. I do like the look of Pete Wild at Barrow as well. He's done very well with then on a tight budget and has them playing attacking football. This season is a wirte off now, so let's start the rebuild in January.

"Can we play you every week"

So Burton hadn't won in ages
Port Vale 1 win at home in 7

And they turn us over.

Something needs to change; if the manager isn't going to change his approach, there's only one other option.

I just can't see it happening though.
