Poveda available on a free?

I think he had a pretty horrible time with us. Wasn’t getting played when he was clearly one of our better players. No way would he come to us.

I think his attitude was not the best, and would he push Apter further from our line up.
Coulson would be a, better signing and for a loaner is playing for the shirt and we'll deserving of it, also think he could handle the Championship.
 
he's got ability no doubt about that and assuming there is little chance of us signing Dembele he would be a similar type of player so in that respect a decent replacement. But as has been mentioned seems to have an attitude so a high risk and I doubt Critchley would fancy him either because he@s not a hard worker
 
Undoubtedly a talented player, but I’ve heard many times, a very cocky fkr to the extent unpopular in the dressing room, due to flaunting his Leeds wages & confrontational attitude.

Confidence is good - even a smidge of arrogance - if you’re good enough to back it up - but he’s a long way from that.

Yeah not a Critchley type..he just isn’t the type of maverick manager that “ trouble “ players respond to I don’t think.
 
Poveda would be another obstacle to the Sainted Apter getting any involvement.

For me, he was a real show pony who disappeared when the going got tough. Far better in his mind than in actualité.

The trouble with some of this lot is they’re dropping their knickers at the first sign of a double step over.

He had a few tricks, but to compare him with Dembele is embarrassing tbh. KD has ability, but he’s also clearly keen to play football, learn and put the effort in…

Poveda is the classic “ I wouldn’t want to be in the trenches with him” type …

Not fit to lace Kaddy's boots. Though he did have a good song.
 
There are mavericks and there are Billy big bollocks and he was the ultimate Billy big bollocks, undoubted talent but bad news, I wouldn't want him near the club.

Get Apter back, extend his contract, sign Coulson, Rhodes and Byers and if we can somehow get promoted go all out to get Dembele, Yates and Brannigan (I know, I know, but he is decent!)

You may have a point, he should be first on the team sheet.
He’s 24 been at a few great clubs so must be a good player.
I hope he plays another 300 league games and can say to the doubters go fuck yourselves.

He’s had decent close control “Good Feet”… He was lacking strength, lacking fitness, lacked vision, lacked effort, lacking self-motivation.

He’d be absolutely fantastic at keepy uppies I’d have thought and I can imagine him being an absolute demon at 5-A-Side, but at big boys football you’d be carrying him for the majority of the time.

I actually think CJ Hamilton is a more effective player… Dembele certainly is…

Gabriel, Coulson, Byers all miles better…
