Reading or Huddersfield?

Who would you prefer to come down with us?

I dislike Reading but would much prefer Huddersfield as it's not far away at all.

Huddersfield have 2 games to play before the showdown on the final day. Lose today and Reading go above them. A draw between them on the final day would mean Reading stay up (as long as Huddersfield don't take any points off Sheff Utd).

It would be good if it went to a winner takes all showdown on the last day.

But it won’t.

Reports say very little goalmouth action in Cardiff V Hudds first half. Warnock well thought of down there as a ex manager, Cardiff shit at home. No worse than another 0-0.

Followed by Sheff Utd (Warnocks team) v Hudds.…….

It was totally unfair by the EFL to allow Huddersfield into a position where they would have 3 games left and their rivals only one. We would be moaning like hell if we were still in the fight.

Cardiff v Rotherham should have been played Wed night, meaning Hudds v Cardiff could be played Sat lunchtime or 3pm afternoon.

Reading because they're are total dross and we're much more likely to pick up points there next year. And they're cheating bastards!

Rotherham just need a point from two games so Reading are going down. Whilst it would have been nice to beat Millwall it wouldn’t have kept us up, but at least we went down fighting with Stephen

Just saying…..

I think as said above, Reading have already been in serious financial difficulty, so I can only see things getting worse for them going down to League one. Fans have turned on owner, and could be a club in serious freefall. When you think Wigan also have their financial difficulties currently in paying players late a few times this season, it can only help our cause that we're therefore the most stable of the 3 coming down, so hopefully 2 less competitors to worry about next season!

At the moment and based on events of this season, I’d hardly describe ourselves as stable…..in fact very far from it.

So Huddersfield save themselves. Well done to them! 👏

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but If the board had appointed Neil Warnock or even Roy Hodgson In January instead of the dinosaur 😉
things could have been better for us.

Yeah absolutely, but I'm talking about the financial side. Going down to League one could ruin both Reading and Wigan, however for all the stick Sadler gets, we're safe and secure in that regard. Just needs to get the footballing decisions right this summer!

We were only about 3 wins and a draw away from safety…

But saying that, maybe League One is sort of where we are at right now. I’m sticking with the owner. I’m glad he’s here.

It's the fourth year in a row that one of the relegation places in the Championship has been decided in a disciplinary tribunal.

I've no sympathy for the people who run Reading ; their costs control over a long period has been lamentable. The insidious thing is that the kind of profligacy that you have seen from clubs like them does put enormous pressure on everyone else in the Division. It is a very, very hard environment in which to prosper.

If we'd of beat Cardiff, which we could of done under Warnock, then we'd be 2 points from safety right now.

Fine margins in the end. I’d say rather than that result we could have even beat better teams ie West Brom. Too many games where the opposition weren’t even playing well but we couldn’t bury our chances.

Oh well. Would you really want Warnock?

Past Warnock- yes, not now for me.
