Just wondering why so many have chosen not to go tonight?
I thought school shut at 3.30? The art of management is delegation. It's on telly, freezing conditions, late home from work.
Leaders lead from the front Unfortunately governor meetings etc need to be attended, it's not all just playing in sand and with paint then an early dart at 3.30...I thought school shut at 3.30? The art of management is delegation.
I thought that was what you youngsters invented Zoom for!Leaders lead from the front Unfortunately governor meetings etc need to be attended, it's not all just playing in sand and with paint then an early dart at 3.30...
Zoom meetings are horrific to be fair, still have them but if I can do face to face it's better.I thought that was what you youngsters invented Zoom for!
It would be akin to child neglect, not to let junior Seasider watch it on TV with snacks & drinksNot that arsed to drag my 8 year old to a night game on a school night. The biggest question in my head is whether to let him stay up and watch it.
From the sound of things you could hold the Zoom meeting in the stands tonight and no one would notice at either end of the call.Zoom meetings are horrific to be fair, still have them but if I can do face to face it's better.

Your big dilemma would be - what to do if the game goes to extra time & penalties
Your 8 year old has turned into a 9 years old in 25 minutesI do my bit most Saturdays. 5 year old and 9 year old. I have to force the 9 year as he is used to watching Haaland and co at the Etihad. Once he is at Bloomfield, he is fine. Tonight is a stretch too far though.

True, thanks for the thoughts while I'm stuck in the warm. I was at Pure Gym for a while, now at Place for people near Bamber Bridge BnQ as it's handy. I do miss the Virgin sauna ans steam rooms though. What about you? From the sound of things you could hold the Zoom meeting in the stands tonight and no one would notice at either end of the call.
Thinking of you in the warm, while freezing tonight. Out of interest which gym are using these days?
Wish I wasIn Sharm……….
Still going to Nuffield as it is now. Over the years I have got to know so many people there, that it just works for me. It is also good to be sat in the middle of the PNE/T'Rovers rivalry. Difficult to work out which are the most deluded bunch.True, thanks for the thoughts while I'm stuck in the warm. Me Too.I’m in Spain
Ticket office open till koIs it OK to buy a ticket later today? My bowling's cancelled now
thats a really good post . didnt sort of realise about exile supporters. yes i was a huddersfield in 2021. its a big ask when you worried about traffic. i go to games when my son is available . he LOVES floodlit games and he has grandaughter duties sat so ANY midweek game suits him better.Age….a few days short of 73.
Night game….120 round trip( yes I know it’s shorter than a lot of exiles) which I stopped doing after we played Huddersfield sept 14 2021 as I realised it was getting too much getting home well after 11 pm then having to eat something, shower and then unable to sleep because my concentration levels were still high. Also I was constantly finding one of the M55,m6,m61 or M60 and even the m56 being shut or lanes closed on almost all the nights games I’d been going to.In fact I don’t enjoy driving in the dark these days which Never used to bother me but does now.Even Saturday games at this time of year are less appealing because of that.
I’d promised my long suffering wife a few years ago that i’d wind down my attending games once I got to 70 and night games were the obvious first option and now she doesn’t expect me to go to them but is still ( just about) ok for Saturday’s.
So even if it were not on TV I would not have been there tonight but the fact it is means I get to watch it and now for the night( midweek) league games I cough up my £10 to TTV so have seen all of them this season but on my iPad.including the EFL trophy ones…just about the price of the diesel had I driven over.
I would guess some those in my age group will have similar reasons.
hello hello seaside aggro. well remember singing that.Watching this board is more entertaining than watching this current team.
