A good impression?Impressive list ... When I was younger and the old fella was in Tull & Stealers wheel we lived in Henley/London for a while, I met stars I didn't realise were stars... I'd kill to meet some of them again knowing now who they were/are.. The biggest impression and memory though is John Pertwee (Dr Who at the time) ..
Is it Maxwell?A very-recently-former Blackpool player lives directly behind me
Andrew gives one to CGP1's rear scandal. Was he sweating?I was almost run over by Prince Andrew's car at the Birkdale '98 Open.
He didn't even stop to apologise. Git
I think I was there !Not recent but I once picked up Shakatak in my taxi and took them to perform at Bunters.
Beat that !
my wife worked with Declan's mum at Kingston Grammar School.Declan Rices dad Shaun used to be an area sales manager for Grahams Builders Merchants and looked after the company I work for’s account , Shaun’s a big big Chelsea fan so was always full of stories about Declan going through the system there.
Shaun‘s a real sharp guy and very street wise so no surprise a few years ago he left Grahams to look after Declan in fact I think he’s his manager , the family is set for life now fair play to em
In the same room!!!A very-recently-former Blackpool player lives directly behind me
In the same taxi!!!I think I was there !
WowNot me, but a couple of weeks ago a relative of mine was in the queue at Dublin Airport, boarding was delayed and in front of her was an 80 odd year old American lady. My relation said to her, go and sit down and we'll hold your place in the queue. The old lady said, not at all she was fine. They got talking and it turned out to be Candi Staton the singer on her way to Glastonbury having just played at a festival in Ireland . Every credit to her. I saw her doing an hour set on TV a few days later. Not bad for an 82 year old. Young Hearts Run Free and all that.
No, have you met Micky Burns nephew! Are these really clame to fames?

In my cab or in BuntersI think I was there !
Did he have his Bruvvers with him?Had a pee down an alleyway in North London on a Sunday afternoon (nothing open back then).
Heard a car slam it's breaks on & Joe Brown (singer) appeared next to me.
A great leveller needing a slash.

We were in the que for a flight to Germany at Manchester Airport, (1990) near the front of the que as well, suddenly a bloke turned up with 4 people carrying his bags and went straight to the front of the que, my mate when straight over to him & said get to the back of the que, no pushing in, one of the bag carriers said this is Dizzy Gillespie, my mate said, I don't give a sh#t who it is, get to the back of the que or get some seaside aggro, they moved to the back of the que.Not me, but a couple of weeks ago a relative of mine was in the queue at Dublin Airport, boarding was delayed and in front of her was an 80 odd year old American lady.
