anyone seen the leaked text convo on twitter - Williams texting his knobber mate about the move and ending up saying he can’t stand us?!

Bizarre at best assuming it is legit.
 
Just a sad nobber trying to get a reaction from us. They've been trying all summer on twitter but without success, in fact they use the #UTMP hashtag more than we do, and reply to official BFC tweets quicker than we do so must have notifications turned on.

It's a shame the muckers have decided to post it and tag him in it, because without any proof it's real then it's doing no one any favours.

BUT, even if it is true, does it really matter? He's a PNE fan, ST holder when he was younger, why would he like us? But he'll realise he can't afford another failed loan move at this level, so I imagine he'll give his all to impress other clubs. I mean, it's not like he's going to go and score own goals every week is it, he's going to want to try and impress and knows if he doesn't then no one in the top 2 divisions will touch him. Give him a chance.
 
Just seen it on the Muckers twitter..... that could be anyone texting that, I'm disappointed the Suckers have reacted like they have and sent the message to him and slagged him off. Why do people fall for these fake posts? ** social media, I bet he can't wait to start on Sunday now.

Poor form the Muckers posting this and I’ve said as much on the Twitter feed. What exactly are they trying to achieve? Making this public when a player is playing for us for a year. As an avid Preston fan he won’t like us. That’s common sense. As a professional id have no doubt he would give his best for the team regardless of his allegiance. After a not so great loan spell at Swansea this could be make or break for us with regards to playing at this level.
 
Fans out in their droves on twitter waving their virtual pitchforks without a jot of proof as to its validity.

Let's vilify a young lad new to the club without any proof shall we. Unreal.
 
Surely this is all made up. I can’t see him saying stuff like that. If it’s not real then the Muckers are treading a very fine line with the club

For a variety of reasons our close season recruitment isn't going well. Not a smart move here to put pressure on the player. On the flip side, if this is from the player it might be clear why he's not progressing his career though, and it might who knows give him cause to stop and think. He won't be a shoe in for a starting role as we already have several quality centre halves. Let's hope it doesn't turn out as a wasted loan.

Absolutely conclusive evidence there.

It just simply has to be coming from him, there's no other way.

Thats exactly how the messages would look if he did type it. Coincidence? No.

The amount of smileys used fit a man of his age.

He even says agent Williams and whats the alternative? That someone made it up? No way would PNE fans, the gentry, top fans full of respect and reason, they wouldn't make this up.

If that’s proved to be true then he’ll be back at Liverpool quicker than you can say Knobber, but it has to be a wind up.

No idea, just when you see those messages it could be anyone.

But also another point there's an easy way for the club to stop silly things like this.

Avoid players who support them maybe....

Can't be that hard, there's probably only a few to avoid.

Will get full support from me and needs to show his ability. Plus he can see what a real bouncing home atmosphere feels like week in week out.
 
One things for sure he’s going to have to come clean now and publicly say it wasn’t him that wrote those comments as this is going to snow ball tomorrow at an alarming rate of knots.

I’m very sceptical it’s legitimate tbf.
Firstly the player has to be that unprofessional to make such a comment (given the amount of effort they put into building a career and the massive risk any sort of suspicion around max fitching could have on it - even a jokey comment is a massive no go) and then not only does he have to be that unprofessional but also stupid enough to say it to someone who has so little respect for him that it’s immediately shared with his new employers - thus jeopardising his career.
If you’re close enough with the lad to share texts the chances are you not gonna screw him over just to wind up opposition supporters.

Almost 100% certain the Muckers have been made to look fools here

i hope it is made up and i’ll admit i fell for it hook line and sinker if it’s proven to be.
 
Williams has nothing to gain by intentionally playing poorly anyways,

He's on the books at Liverpool and dreams of playing in the first team.

He already had a difficult time at Swansea, what are 2 bad spells in the championship going to do to his career?

He'll be dropping the leagues in no time.

This strongly feels like being a fake. And either way I’m not sure the Muckers have considered the consequences for them and their relationship with the club. If it is fake the club will almost certainly want nothing to do with them in future. If it’s real, and I am very sceptical it is, the club will not look kindly on the Muckers outing this and causing trouble for a new signing. I’m just not sure who this really benefits either way?
 
What evidence is there it's real?

Things like this you only ever see random messages and it's from a 'trusted source'.

It's all a bit 'dude trust me'.

The 2nd screenshot messages are farcical.

Why would he come here if his feelings were that against it....

Also we know what he has said, yes you'd expect it, but sat there in a tangerine shirt going to be playing for us, can't be that big a nobber anyway.
