If he isn't playing Lyons when we all saw what hes capableof last seaaon, then Apter has no chance. If he stays there for the rest of season he’ll do well & become a better player. But my heart says bring him back in January, I think he’s ready but Critchley must play him he could offer more than Dale or CJ.
If there are then I've missed them. I know his dad passed away, but I wasn't aware of anything else. There are different reasons why he isn’t playing Lyon’s !

Critch will soon knock that out of himHopefully keeps on ripping it up for Tranmere and we see him back here and utilised. Clever player, quick feet and seems able to spot a pass , shoot for goal. Love the freedom he plays with
My mate was there and said he was a class above. And Tranmere were away to Stockport, who are on 11 consecutive wins. We would find it tough away to them ourselves, at the moment. Was half-following the game via County Twitter on Saturday and noticed Apter's name a lot. Not often club accounts comment on opposition individuals like this.View attachment 17052
I thought he was a Blackpool school boy myselfFor some reason, I never knew he was a scouser. Just didn't seem to fit when he spoke.
He was at school in Liverpool with Tony Weston (year younger) who went to find his fame and fortune playing for Gerrard at Rangers and is now in Derby's Academy.I thought he was a Blackpool school boy myself
"I don't have a clue to be honest with you," responded Apter in post-match interview with BBC on Saturday when quizzed over his long-term future with the Birkenhead outfit.
"I'm just keeping going game-by-game and see what happens."
Critchley wasn't here when he left...Good for him. No way Critchley would be playing him even if he was still here.
For an ex-youth coach, he seems very reluctant to bring any of our younger players through. It’s all a bit odd.
Wouldn‘t be the same with Dobbie in charge.
Looks like he's forced his way in to the side and is now impressing, which is what we wanted. Good for his development.
The Dembele goal was magnificent - would be the best goal if it had qualified - unbelievableVOTE for Apter's goal, best of first round. Dembele and Lavery not options! Bloody Beeb shows our game and overlooks them! Useless middle class twunts.
Vote for best goal of the FA Cup first round
It was an epic weekend of FA Cup first-round action, but who scored the best goal? Cast your vote.www.bbc.co.uk
Weston scored for derby first team last week, came on as subHe was at school in Liverpool with Tony Weston (year younger) who went to find his fame and fortune playing for Gerrard at Rangers and is now in Derby's Academy.
Why weird? He's starting for the first team and is one of the first names on the team sheet now.Weird Apter didn’t start in a meaningless EFL Trophy game against Wigan last night?!
Who gives a shit we want players who want it. Good luck to the lad in the future. My mate was there and said he was a class above. And Tranmere were away to Stockport, who are on 11 consecutive wins. We would find it tough away to them ourselves, at the moment.
The worry is that Apter will decide he is better off at another club and not sign another contract for us. He needs to know we value him and believe he is good enough.
What?Who gives a shit we want players who want it. Good luck to the lad in the future.
Agree with you, no chance he should be brought back. He's learning more there playing week in week out than he will do here being sat on the bench or in the development squad. No point bringing him back. Leave him there and let him build a long season of appearances into his legs. Like Casey last season, Rob needs games.
We’ve got Lyons and Gabriel to find a spot for and they’d be ahead of Apter in this formation
?????If he isn't playing Lyons when we all saw what hes capableof last seaaon, then Apter has no chance.
I still think he has no chance. He's doing so well for Tranmere, but we have players that have performed at a higher level for us still aren't getting a look in. Leave the lad there and get him ready for next season.?????
Rob is Dembele's replacement. He's a free role No.10. He's not a WB.No point bringing him back. Leave him there and let him build a long season of appearances into his legs. Like Casey last season, Rob needs games.

He will be on his option year next season. Is he out of contract at the end of the season?
Looks a bit stockier and taller than when he was here - anyone know his height?
That's the plan.Extremely promising.
He's been one of their best players over the past few weeks and at 20, really has a chance to kick on. I would keep him there until the season is over.
I know a lot of people on here get frustrated at the lack of youth players breaking through, but I think it's also important to note just how bad our academy system had been run. Even our most promising players over the years (Mark Waddington and Dom Telford) could barely cut it in League 2 and that's because there was no structure to properly develop them.
It's not as simple as just throwing our youth players into league games, they need to be coached along with proper structure to ensure they develop within their means and that structure has taken a loooong time to create since Sadler took over. Before when we had youth teams there was hardly any guidance or path and we've essentially had to create that from scratch with Dobbie, Eardley, and Donnelly leading the way.
As that structure is continually improved and refined (with the pinnacle being the new academy in the new training ground) we will start to see more and more players, starting with Apter, break through.
