Rwanda here we come

Well the good news about her appointment is that everyone will know what’s going on before the official announcement 😂

Suella it’s top secret, please don’t tell anyone this information….
(Camera zooms in to the Home Secretary tweeting the secret documents)

Good chance it will never happen. It's a bit like Trump saying build the wall. Doesn't matter if it actually happens, just pander to your base.

If labour are ripping legal Sue apart then they might not be looking at Sunak too closely. Labour will take the wins where they can get them, but they don't have the longish term view,
I’m sure Labour are able to multi task and can “oppose” (as opposition parties are supposed to do) on several fronts.

Braverman is an obvious target. Make her look totally inept and a liability (not hard given the targets she’s set herself) and Sunak has to make a choice. Get rid and upset the ERG. Or back her and use up loads of political capital in her defence.

Or make bravermans and BJ's plan for Rwanda look ridiculous as well as probably illegal and set out some marginally reasonable alternatives, particularly if customs union agreements are put in place. Cuts the legs off a silly idea, cuts the influence of a truly disgusting individual but the ERG still have one of their true loons at the table.

Maybe.

The more obvious issue will just be on migration numbers.

Employees are key to growing the economy.

U.K. employers are desperate for foreign workers. Braverman is against most immigration. Sunak I’m pretty sure understands the problem. Braverman doesn’t; she’s too ideological.

That’s the main issue that Truss and Braverman fell out over. Braverman fecked up a potential trade deal with India over the issue of immigration.

Brexiters will fudge the issue by saying “we decide and set the rules: so we’re still in control of our borders”.

A pretty feeble and desperate attempt to undermine Sunak's new Cabinet on day 1. Must do better.
Sunak has done that himself.

The man with £730 million in the bank says I understand the issues you are all facing.

OK.

Anyway, the main architect of lockdown in charge. You must be delighted.

That's no better Wiz. The fact that someone's wealthy doesn't have any bearing on how or whether they understand the issues. How about you wait until there's something to criticise.

He simply can't relate. If you can't see that, what's the point of debating it, as you would say?

Also, you still haven't answered on your view of an arch lockdowner running the country.

He seems to be relating very well so far.

As for the covid pandemic most thought Rishi handled it well as Chancellor and certainly saved a lot of businesses from going bust. In any event, as plenty on here never cease to point out, it's the PM who bears the responsibility, so we'll see soon enough how he shapes up.

Apart from all those people interviewed on the news who said how could he understand people going to food banks to subsist.

All these rich people that you seem to envy and hate can’t at all empathise or relate to someone struggling to pay their bills? Really?

So at what level of wealth do they lose this ability to empathise? Is it only when you get into the hundreds of millions or has Starmer lost his empathy too with his paltry net worth of £7.7 million.

Having a net worth of £7.7m is something mere mortal working class and middle class will never achieve. So using your logic, how can someone with that level of wealth have any understanding of what it’s likes to have less than nothing?

Until the Conservative party stop being a shower of shite people are going to have to get used to them being criticised.

The Braverman situation is ludicrous without even mentioning her policies.

Some just keep on defending the indefensible, always the same people who never admit they’re wrong. It’s quite fun watching you lot squirm.

I noticed the week before Liz Truss stood down she authorised a £20m payment to Rwanda this goes with the £30m already sent to Rwanda when this exit loop was set up, so that’s £50m in total.
Just what have we got for 50 million quid in return?
We’ve actually sent a lot more to France to stop the Dinghy’s coming over and that’s been a waste of time as well.
We seriously need an enquiry setting up as we've becoming a nation of throwing money down the drain.

The UK has had to give money to Rwanda to prepare, and have the process, trained staff, accommodation and all else that goes with this arrangements. Imagine what we’d all say if we sent illegal immigrants to Rwanda and they were left un-housed and unsupported on arrival.

Of course there’s a significant upfront cost to setting up these new arrangements.

We actually accepted some asylum seekers from Rwanda last year, yet now deem it a safe environment. What's changed?

12,838 Rwandans applied for asylum last year, not all here, by the way, mainly in Uganda

I think that's a terrible way to treat people and the EU should be ashamed of itself. Britain operating outside of the EU shouldn't emulate it with a.similar scheme. What do you think?

120 MILLION already paid. Incompetence doesn´t come close.

£7m PER DAY to house immigrants awaiting their applications being processed.
4% of 2021 applications have been handled to date.
Shocking .

Well little Sue will have to find another airline first to fly the refugees to Rwanda, as the Spanish charter company based in Palma de Mallorca pulled out!

Headline making. It will have no impact on the people smugglers. That's what it is all about it isn't?

Why won’t it have an impact? Do you think these individuals will merrily hand over several thousand euros to a people smuggler once word gets out they’ll be shipped off to Rwanda?
The flood will turn into a trickle and we can then handle the legal asylum applicants efficiently - you know - the ones who are being disadvantaged by the queue jumping economic migrants.

Wide spread reports that she was investigated for leaking security service info whilst Attorney General. High Court says there was an enquiry, but no comment from Government. 3 Tory MPs raising concerns about her position.

'The clandestine Channel threat commander, Dan O’Mahoney, told the Commons home affairs committee during the hearing that in 2021 the interception rate for French police stopping people trying to cross the Channel was 50%, but this year it has dropped to 42.5%.

He accepted this was a lower percentage but stressed it was a “much, much bigger number”, telling how French authorities had stopped 28,000 migrants crossing the Channel and intercepted and destroyed 1,072 boats so far this year.'

Yep, the French are doing nothing.

Quote from The Guardian …..

MPs previously heard that about 12,000 Albanians have arrived in the UK after crossing the Channel so far this year, of whom 10,000 were single, adult men. This compares with 50 in 2020.

Jenrick said: “Albania is quite clearly a safe country and those individuals have crossed through multiple other safe countries before arriving in the United Kingdom.

“Some reports suggest that as much as 1% or even 2% of the adult male population of Albania either have attempted to leave the country in this manner or are contemplating doing so. So this is a serious situation that we need to grip.”

The Albanians are very enterprising. They are replacing those nasty Brits in the city centre drug dens and brothels.
