I don't remember anyone being that brutal to be honest, I remember Batman used to float along the flagged floors, skeletor like with his cape billowing around him and Tank Sherman getting redder and redder in the face before he exploded!
 
Yeah happy days! There were one or two that didn’t hold back much, but I guess it probably didn’t do me too much harm!
Some decent characters there when you got to know them.

Was a nice bloke, Derek Slater. Had him for two years, and then Rowell. Both proper old school, who really belonged in the grammar school days.

Another with Latin A level here. Fraction also comes from that same root. Not sure about fractious but I wouls guess so.

It also teaches you to look at things in their entirety rather than making judgement too early, as the order of the words in a sentence is not fixed, so you have to read the whole sentence before you can understand it.

Love the “judgement too early”... there’s a couple on here who claim to have done Latin might not of understood that bit😉😁.... the only Latin I understood... is very apt for me... nil sine labore.....🤣
 
Don't forget this is Blackpool nothing goes smoothly. How many deals over the years have collapsed at the last minute?!
 
Maybe it’s us that’s messing about? Perhaps we’ve gone back for Moxon as he’s still to sign the new contract offer.

The thing is with Nixon is that you can usually tell when he's chatting shite as he uses things like, multiple clubs in for him, lots of competition for him, or he just won't respond to tweets about it. He seem pretty sure with this one so I'm hopeful, however I'll fully belive it when it happens.

If we do get him, we will probably announce him tomorrow morning whilst I'm in the area meeting. Be just my luck I'm sat there with my bosses, bosses, boss and my phone is in my picket if having a freak from the group chat. 😅
