thats odd, on turnstyle 10 they were telling everyone to just show their cards to the man in the booth, so I presume none were working, but they didnt say anything about having to do anything about it.Mine not accepted at entrance. Exactly. I have to be on a job in Newcastle at 4pm then make a flier when complete so I am not going to make it until kick off anyway. I am out in site all day tomorrow so hard to call but will try and call Tuesday. I just dont think there are many businesses where you spend so much as a customer and get such a negative response rather than an offer of supportMine didn’t work either and I was told I’d need to sort it out at the ticket office next time. Yep I was behind you at gate 1.Mine didn’t work either . My ten year old entered the ground first, then for my card not to work. I Hand it to the steward who scans it and tells me that my season ticket has not been paid for infront of the rest of the people queuing.
Told him I hve 3 season tickets, and how would I have the card if I hadnt paid No reasoning.. .. wouldnt let me in and my lad had to come out . Embarrassing really. sent me to the ticket office where luckily Sarah sorted me out, and told to come back before Tuesday.
Steward was a ** clown
My stepsons was the new season ticketBloke next to me has moved one seat to the left. His mate had swapped over with him.
Issue was his mate had brought last and this season tickets and used last seasons to get in. The turnstile should not have accepted last seasons ticket but it blocked the new ticket used by the man next to me.
This could well be many peoples issue if old ST cards and working?

And i was told the same thing from a jobsworth steward, i told the steward to fcuk right off if he expects me to sort something out that clearly isn't my fault

I thought u could get them posted but it was £5? Unless I've made that up??The club evidently have screwed some peoples tickets up and need to make the effort to rectify matters. I spent ages queuing to collect the damn thing on Wednesday night. Why could they have not posted it, I would have happily paid the postage.
The steward was an arseGate 11, two out of my four tickets didn't work and the steward said quite a few weren't working and to get it fixed by Tuesday or won't get in! If this is the case I can see quite a few problems again on Tuesday because I'm not taking mine to be sorted. Can't understand that it might be the ticket and not the reader that's the problem as with the barcode problem on Wednesday!
