Mine not accepted at entrance. Told to sort out by Tuesday or won't be let in. Had to persuade them to let me in today. It took 6 hours to get to the match arrived dead on 3. Pay £360 treated like a muppet. Not my frigging fault the thing does not work.

thats odd, on turnstyle 10 they were telling everyone to just show their cards to the man in the booth, so I presume none were working, but they didnt say anything about having to do anything about it.

Sounds like you met the wrong steward / turnstile operative.

I'd let the club know which gate so they can remind them about customer service.
 
Mine didn’t work either and I was told I’d need to sort it out at the ticket office next time. Not a chance in hell of me turning up on Tuesday night with thousands of others queuing at the ticket office before the match. It’s the clubs problem, and I’ll be going to the gate and expect to get in.
 
Mine didn’t work either . My ten year old entered the ground first, then for my card not to work. I Hand it to the steward who scans it and tells me that my season ticket has not been paid for infront of the rest of the people queuing.
Told him I hve 3 season tickets, and how would I have the card if I hadnt paid 🤷🏻‍♂️ No reasoning.. .. wouldnt let me in and my lad had to come out . Embarrassing really. sent me to the ticket office where luckily Sarah sorted me out, and told to come back before Tuesday.
Steward was a ** clown
 
Bloke next to me has moved one seat to the left. His mate had swapped over with him.
Issue was his mate had brought last and this season tickets and used last seasons to get in. The turnstile should not have accepted last seasons ticket but it blocked the new ticket used by the man next to me.

This could well be many peoples issue if old ST cards and working?

Exactly. I have to be on a job in Newcastle at 4pm then make a flier when complete so I am not going to make it until kick off anyway. I am out in site all day tomorrow so hard to call but will try and call Tuesday. I just dont think there are many businesses where you spend so much as a customer and get such a negative response rather than an offer of support

My step sons also didn’t work. Also told to sort it by Tuesday or he won’t get in. Paid £360 and also treated like an idiot as if it’s our fault. That was also gate 10

My stepsons was the new season ticket

I had the same thing

My 3 kids tickets all worked fine mine didn't

And i was told the same thing from a jobsworth steward, i told the steward to fcuk right off if he expects me to sort something out that clearly isn't my fault

Mine did work I'm pleased to say.
I don't know if they are turnstile sensitive ie will only work in turnstile 10, say, if that is where they want you to go in.
I do agree it needs sorting and you should contact the ticket office and send the SLO an e-mail as well.

The club evidently have screwed some peoples tickets up and need to make the effort to rectify matters. I spent ages queuing to collect the damn thing on Wednesday night. Why could they have not posted it, I would have happily paid the postage.

I thought u could get them posted but it was £5? Unless I've made that up??
 
I had a season ticket for last year but never had the card ( either sent or collected) as Covid changed everything.I simply got e mails for the Swindon one off game and the Oxford play off which included the ticket to print off.( same with the wembley final).
If people used last years card as is quoted then I presume some must have been issued but even allowing this surely the card was a different design so as to be easily identifiable and if not why not.As for saying the current card was not accepted because of non payment then how did the card get into the hands of the ST holder in the first instance as surely it wouldn’t get produced with the ST holders details if it wasn’t paid for.
The club needs to sort this out for those who experienced this nonsense and apologise ,and the stewards need to be more civil in their attitude though I just went through without them even bothering to check my small bag,in fact they didn’t even look at me but then I was in very early ( not long after 2)
Obviously mine worked fine but I did print off the email from June which confirmed my payment etc just in case.

If this is the case I can see quite a few problems again on Tuesday because I'm not taking mine to be sorted. Can't understand that it might be the ticket and not the reader that's the problem as with the barcode problem on Wednesday!
 
If the steward/s said you didn’t pay for your season ticket surely that’s slander ?? & the way he spoke & threatened some of ye be not allowing ye in next is public embarrassment

that would be the case in Ireland, Club is on the up thank God and this surely needs to be addressed immediately
 
Something for the SLO to take back to the club? Multiple tickets not working and stewards who need training in PR.
My ticket did not work at the first gate, I told the steward who was apologetic but not a great deal of help. I tried another gate and got in first attempt.

The steward was an arse

Really bad attitude making out the issues were with the paying customer
 
Hubby has just been the ticket office and they re printed my step sons st and he said there was quite a few in the queue with faulty season cards
