Season tickets in your wallet

This kept happening last season. They promised me in the ticket office it couldn't/wouldn't happen this season. Mines still there , but showing the Burton game .

Someone was saying the same and they had to re do it and then the port vale game came up

I posted a thread about it yesterday, when I received an email from the club telling me I hadn't downloaded my season ticket.
I had and was in the ground Saturday after using it. The email told me to clear my wallet, click on the link and download again. Did this and The PV game appeared. Just hope I don't have to do it for every game.
Strangely my lads received no email and still have the Burton game showing.
 
Mine disappeared from my Apple Wallet too. I tried to re-add from the original email I received from the club but for some reason it wouldn’t let me. I checked the expired passes in my Apple Wallet and it was there. I just clicked unhide and this seems to have worked. It is now back in the wallet and showing the correct next match. Like others have said, I hope this doesn’t happen after every game.
 
Mine is still showing the Burton game. I assumed the wallet will be updated automatically a few days prior to the next home game, so I'm not too concerned atm?

Surely we don't have to do the download process again? I realise it was relatively simple but I wouldn't expect to do it up to 23 times?

I checked before every game last season when they were trialing it. It would update a couple of days before every home game. Nothing to bother about.
 
Mine updated automatically to the Port Vale game, not sure when exactly but it seemed quick, same day or next day, and I think I got a notification, blurry memory.
 
Mine is in my apple wallet, but there's no next game or date showing. There wasn't for last Saturdays game either though, iirc?
 
yep, mines showing the PV game too. It is a nightmare for all those having problems though. Some on here said it would be plain sailing with the new digitai tickets. Clearly so far it's not.
I did everything asked of me. Got it all set up showing the Burton game but when I tried to get in it wouldn't work. The lady on the turnstile took my phone and said there is another way by using a bar code (which I actually knew about anyway). Guess what, this didn't work either. So she told me I would have to go into Club Shop for them to sort out !! But then I pulled out my bit of plastic that cost me £20 and it worked perfectly. My ST in my wallet is showing the Port Vale game so it's working in one respect but not working with the most important aspect of letting me into the ground. I am also sick to death of those saying 'well mine worked perfectly.' Can they not appreciate many, many more are having problems through no fault of their own. As I said I've done everthing by the book but the system has let me down. There is no doubt the Club seems to struggle when introducing new technology. With the ST's it would appear not much testing was done. If it had been fully tested surely these problems would have surfaced and could have been fixed before the first game.
 
I’ve unhid mine so it’s back in the wallet, still showing the burton game, my lad has done the same and his is showing port vale 😕

If on IPhone, make sure updates are turned on (click the information icon below the ticket and it will open up settings, worth toggling off and back on)

So you have a plastic card. That supercedes the phone, so obviously it won't work, otherwise we'd all spend £20 and have 2 tickets per game.

Seems like it's working exactly to spec.

I haven't got a plastic card.
Mine didn't work, same as above had to use the bar code, that did work.
Still showing Burton as of this morning when I removed it from my wallet and re loaded it from email.
So it's not working 'exactly to spec' 🙄

Exactly the same as you mate, except it was a male steward at West Stand turnstile 7.

Bloody beggars belief when my youngest daughter and eldest grandson sailed through with their Apple Iphones

I tried shoving my Samsung Android in every which way possible without success, if the same thing happens v Port Vale I'm gonna stick it where the sun don't shine!

When I bought my plastic card, I asked the obvious questions... I was told you can only use one of them per game, if both are tried then the second one/attempt will be rejected...

Wizaard, I'm not going to say you are wrong because I don't know enough about the system. However I'll tell you what the ticket office said. When I bought my card I told them I had the ST also on my wallet. They said I could use either but obviously it would only work once whichever method I used. In addition, to address another point raised, the lady at the turnstile tried my wallet and also the bar code within it as well. Neither worked but that did not stop my card working. Seems to me you may well be wrong in saying 'it's working exactly to spec.' Bottom line is that there are without doubt problems.
 
Bollocks! No sign of Port V for me. Think it worked on Saturday ‘cos the turnstile guy waved me straight in. Maybe it didn’t and he was aware of the queue and presumed I was ok. Should I have saved the original email?

This was the reason I decided on a plastic ticket, I have enough trouble as it is uploading downloading and freeloading on my phone without having the added difficulty of arsing about every match to get in.

To add, I'm not a complete idiot when it comes to technology and my phone and smart watch work well together.

how is it a "great system" if so many people are having problems. Perhaps you say that because prior to saturday you were an advocate of how easy it would be.
 
My digital ticket didn't work but my barcode did.
I emailed the club and after a couple of emails between us they have said my phone may need and update and that my phone hasn't got NFC technology.

I've reassured them that there is no update due on my phone and there is a NFC option in my settings which is on so they have referred me to the company who supplied the tech.so I guess I won't hear anything else..

I'm amazed I haven't been told to turn my phone off and on again or take the ticket out of my wallet and reinstall it.
It also wouldn't surprise me if the ticket has to be uploaded to my wallet from the correct email address and the club sent it to a different email address that the wallet doesn't recognise properly.

However I have no IT skills.
 
It does seem odd. It's not like the tech is new and BFC is the Guinea Pig.

It won't be BFC's fault (for some it could never EVER be whatever the problem), but the fact it's hit and miss suggests it's not compatible with every browser download or op system, or a combination.

At the end of the day you just want it to show the PV game and crack on- not too hard an ask. Mine's showing the PV game. Download was chrome and android op sys.
 
When a message from Fortress appears on your phone about an hour or two before the game, press it and it should bring up your digital ticket in readiness to go through the turnstile. And it updates to the next game at some point. So don't panic.
 
Mine was fine to get in on sat no probs but hasn't yet updated to the port vale game. I'll give it a few more days yet though as the 3 others in our house have all updated so hopefully it's just lagging behind a bit.
 
If you click the pass, then pass details, 3 dots in top right hand corner, turn automatic update off then on, it updated mine straight away
 
My ticket was still burton too , deleted and resent ticket to wallet now port vale , had to do it last season too for every game it never automatically did it i have a samsung phone , my lad has i phone his works fine .
 
Did anyone use a digital ticket that was previously downloaded to another phone I.e original season ticket holder ( but deleted from their wallet ) and redownload on new phone and added to wallet to use for Burton Game.

If so ....did it work ?

Seems alot less hassle that transferring ticket and printing etc
