That's the best benefits-linked joke we've had on here. Universal credit to you. They're making money out of claiming Carey's Allowance.

Jensen Weir was banging them in for Morcambe last year, perhaps we should try to get him in on loan...........................I'm just checking what division they're in
I do hope so although changing a players role can sometimes reap rewards.I think it's more of a case of playing them there pending arrivals before the end of the window.
Really hope hes fit soon & we offer a short contract.Madine is still around at the club ..I saw him signing autographs at the Burton home game.
The 14 shirt has not yet been allocated.
Any thoughts?
How is his fitness progressing?
He would be a cheap forward if fit.
Can we please just forget about Madineā¦ he had gone for good and itās time to get over itReally hope hes fit soon & we offer a short contract.
Why cant we have an update on Joseph? Embarrassed?
Jesus Christ. 3 games in.We might be unbeaten in 3 League games and have 3 clean sheets but:
We have played some poor teams and gone the last 5 l consecutive halves in the league without scoring!!
Lavery as a sole up front striker is not feasible!!
Beesley is nothing better than a Squad Player.
Joseph we signed as an injured player.
Bread Holmes is inexperienced.
Stop signing midfielders and sign a couple of strikers with physicality to play in Div 1, we have lots of āpretty footballersā in midfield butā¦..No fit strikers!!
You sold Jerry so you use the cash to buy a replacements for him and Madine. Plus an āEllis Simmsā type loan.
Sell āBack-Pass Dougalā and āTraitor Trybellā if you need to keep the cost/head count down, but stop buying midfielders we have enough!!!
Itās NOT ārocket scienceā why we are not scoring !
Rant Over!!!!
Won't be fit until next year, ie January rather than next season.Really hope hes fit soon & we offer a short contract.
Why cant we have an update on Joseph? Embarrassed?
I'm wondering if Franny Jeffers is ready for one last hurrah...Can we please just forget about Madineā¦ he had gone for good and itās time to get over it
We have some absolute shockers, itās not been a great start to the season but itās a long way off being a disaster.Jesus Christ. 3 games in.
A fragile time for Critch. Hope he doesnāt feel the pressure of this nonsense. We finished 3rd in league one last time after a worse start.
Iād be amazed if thereās another club with a such short sighted, spoilt fan base.
Apter again out of picture and with the dev squad. So much for Critch's support of our youthPerhaps Critchley and Sadler have decided they can save money by not buying a striker and instead trying to turn an attack minded midfielder in to a striker. ie Carey, Dale or Apter. He's pretty much tried them all up front.
Where's that come from?Apter again out of picture and with the dev squad. So much for Critch's support of our youth
Not in squad Tues and played for Dev teamWhere's that come from?
Merely trying to prevent last seasons car crash.Jesus Christ. 3 games in.

That's not out of the picture you can only have 7 on the bench one will be a goalie Dale,Beesley, Virtue and Weir midfield/forward options are we to shoehorn Apter in because he's young? Not in squad Tues and played for Dev team
How do you come to āpoor teamsā after 3 league games ffs. Weāve won 2 (convincingly), been unlucky not to score 3/4 against Port Vale were it not for some poor decisions in the final third and we took a good point away from at Exeter - who will do very well this season. We might be unbeaten in 3 League games and have 3 clean sheets but:

Thereās still 129 points up for grabs. Thereās nothing wrong with a couple of draws to start whilst a new team gels. They will gel, and we will come good. Be patient.Merely trying to prevent last seasons car crash.
We want Sadler to help Critch by buying a player for a position that if not addressed NOW could cost Us/Crirh a promotion.
So, could Critch be working on that? It's plainly obvious to anyone that we are severely lacking up front whereas we seem to be amassing enough midfielders for three teams?
I can't see anything wrong with what you've said. Whether or not people agree is another matter.Merely trying to prevent last seasons car crash.
We want Sadler to help Critch by buying a player for a position that if not addressed NOW could cost Us/Crirh a promotion.
Do you really think anyone at the club is going to read this thread and suddenly realize what we're missing is a striker?Merely trying to prevent last seasons car crash.

Saturday will be the fifth game in 15 days, the only other available striker missed the whole of last season injured, Weir is new to the club, and it's debatable whether Dale would've done any better than Carey. It was the managers decision to play one up front at home to Port Vale. We had attacking options on the bench and rate him or not, we appeared to have more attacking intent when he came on.
Debate if Dale would've done any better than Carey ? He'd have to go some to be any worse. I really don't get how people have come to rate Carey, I've seen next to nothing on match days to fill me with any confidence that he is a player.Saturday will be the fifth game in 15 days, the only other available striker missed the whole of last season injured, Weir is new to the club, and it's debatable whether Dale would've done any better than Carey.
The manager didn't have that many options.
To be fair he came injured and after playing 30mins he's injured againSorry, your use of quotation marks makes no sense and is annoying me.
Joseph was fit enough to play a part at Derby and then picked up a knock, it happens. I assume you expected Critchley/Sadler to look into the future and know he was going to pick up that knock and not sell Yates due to this impending injury?
How can you be unlucky not to score 3/4 when you haven't had one shot on target in the second halfHow do you come to āpoor teamsā after 3 league games ffs. Stop your whinging. Itās embarrassing. Plenty of teams would take our squad, performances, manager and results right now. Weāve got more to come into the squad and 1 thing we know about Critchley is he improves players with time.
Weāre unlucky to have CJ wearing wooden clogs instead of a pair of Puma KingsHow can you be unlucky not to score 3/4 when you haven't had one shot on target in the second half
To be honest you could say the same of Virtue, Dougall or Carey so far this season..the only bright spot has been Norburn although Morgan has done well in patchesDebate if Dale would've done any better than Carey ? He'd have to go some to be any worse. I really don't get how people have come to rate Carey, I've seen next to nothing on match days to fill me with any confidence that he is a player.

Whereās that been said?Won't be fit until next year, ie January rather than next season.
The initial prognosis was that he'd be out until the New Year. He's not our player, he's just doing his rehabilitation with us.This.
Whereās that been said?
We will see.Can we please just forget about Madineā¦ he had gone for good and itās time to get over it
I think Port Vale were the ones unlucky not to score tbhHow do you come to āpoor teamsā after 3 league games ffs. Weāve won one league game, Derby was a cup game. Donāt twist the facts to suit your agenda. How do you come to āpoor teamsā after 3 league games ffs. Thereās still 129 points up for grabs. That was the attitude of a lot on here last season, see where we are after 10 games, see where we are at the World Cup break, see where we are at Christmas, see where we are after the January window. See where we where at the end of the season, that went well.Thereās still 129 points up for grabs. Thereās nothing wrong with a couple of draws to start whilst a new team gels. They will gel, and we will come good. Be patient.
A lot will disagree with this but thereās always the risk of complacency by thrashing teams to start with. Itās unsustainable. Critch has likely got us where he wants us right now - with big things to come.
Norburn actually warned us pre season we will have to be patient. Trust the process.
But we donāt know if it is a recurrence of the same injury so to claim we have signed someone whoās already injured kind of becomes irrelevant if itās a separate issue as knocks are part and parcel of the game.To be fair he came injured and after playing 30mins he's injured again
If it's the same injury we were on notice of the issue
To be fair I still think it's a great signing and far preferable to selling Yates and trying to recruit - however that only works if we have a realistic expectation of him being fit for the start of the season
At the moment we are toothless going forward
How exactly have I twisted facts?Weāve won one league game, Derby was a cup game. Donāt twist the facts to suit your agenda.
You said we have won 2 league games out of 3. Or at least intimidated so.How exactly have I twisted facts?
Bloody hell. I referenced the two games we drew so Iām not sure how I can be accused of glossing over it. Either way my point stands and itās factual. Weāve played 3 league games. Won 1 comfortably, took a point and a clean sheet away at Exeter which I would guess a lot of teams wonāt do this season and we were unlucky not to beat Port Vale despite not being at the races for much of the game. We also embarrassed the title favourites away from home in a cup game. Weāre unbeaten and have not conceded yet. Itās a decent start. Calling opposition teams poor seems a bit premature. QPR looked to be on course for the Championship title this time last season and we didnāt look too shabby ourselves. Make those judgements 10+ games in.You said we have won 2 league games out of 3. Or at least intimidated so.
Did they not have it in the back of the net at one point and with the referee giving it until the linesman stepped in ?They had ONE shot on target all game.

Thatās why you should read whole posts and attempt to understand context instead of getting hung up on parts of sentences.ā After 3 league games ffs, weāve won 2 ( convincingly)ā
