Sit or Stand at Wembley?

I always stand when I can. At Wembley I don't think I've been seated during any game during play, whether that be with Blackpool or England.

Great idea ! I would rather stand … they should take the opportunity to increase capacity at the same time, instead of 1 for 1 it should be 1.5 for 1 (standing spaces per seat like they do in Germany)

That would be amazing. Imagine for big games getting 110 thousand in there without actually making it any bigger so would still feel full with around 50k for League One and Two play off finals.

I nearly got thrown out in the 2021 play off final for standing, wanker stewards as usual. They allow Spammers to throw bottles of pi$$ around how dare you stand up! Off piste l know but l feel better after that 🤣🤣

Top tier at Wembley has to be one of the shittest views ever your that far away from the game.
I stand at every game but it's a No from me.

They could even make the lower tier safe standing as well. Then it's effectively like it was before it was rebuilt but with burger bars, elevators and a more crap access road than it ever was at one time. And the FA are £XXXk lighter for the experience.

Yeah. I remember this skinny little piece of shit telling me to sit down. No one in front of me and no one behind me yet it was a problem?

I politely suggested that if it was an issue we could go somewhere quieter to discuss

Sounds great for those who have the health and ability to stand for 45 minutes but not everyone is able to do that due to health reasons and it does seem to be discriminatory against those who would love to stand but are unable to do so

So it's a no from me

I remember a woman grassing us up for standing up and not wearing our masks, she got some real grief !

Safe standing defeats the object IMO as you are still confined to your area. Its bollocks & a massive blanket overkill ruling after disasters on huge Kop’s. How can you stand together with a group of friends all in rows of ridiculous seats with a barrier. Smaller area’s with a policed quota with sufficient barriers to rule out the possibility of a crush. I mean what’s the problem with that. I never had any worries of being squashed at the front of the South or West stands as there wasn’t enough rows of people to cause that. Had a few squeezes on the Kop (take that anyway you want)😬 As for Wembley next time I go whenever that is I’ll do what I usually do & sit in the seat, standing up regularly if we get close to scoring. I’ve moved to the North this season to be next to my lad so standing seems to be the norm up there so I do otherwise I’d see nothing, but it’s only really done in defiance I’d guess & I’m not fussed whether I sit or stand in those rows.

Sit. Can’t stand for long now. Need somewhere for the tartan rug and flask.
How about heated seats?
