SLO? Wi fi connection

Wi fi access is appalling particularly in west. Sometimes fine but generally as yesterday can’t get a signal - I’m not only one I thought that as we had/have a tech ‘partner’ that things would be better. SLO - any comments?
I'll follow up and get back to you.

I struggle to get any sort of 3G/4G signal at the rear of the South but others don’t seem to have a problem so I can only assume the Vodafone connection is dodgy at Bloomfield Road.

I know the sponsor for the West last season was providing Wi-Fi in the West stand but apparently the service was poor - hence the sponsorship not lasting into this season.

Would be good if something could be offered again to the whole ground. Advertising opportunity for the club and would certainly make placing a bet/checking scores that bit easier.

This is your 4G suppliers' fault, not the club .
I am on Three and most of the time I can have Tangerine tv running through a VPN to watch any replays in the west.
It would be nice if the club could supply wifi but when that gets oversubscribed it will be Simon's fault as per😵

My 4g Connection is ok other than at half time - in the south.

I connected to the hotel WiFi then though. 😲

The club now provides free WiFi new one on me.
Last season opening game at Brizzle - soon as you walked in to the away concourse through the gate there were posters up showing their club wifi and the pass code to log on to it.
A simple 30second ad and you were connected.
The West sponsor last year didn't provide free WiFi for the West but they did say Stadium wide coverage coming. Unfortunately like their sponsorship the coverage never saw through the closed season.
It's a great opportunity for the club to advertise / link anything via providing a Stadium wifi, and whilst we don't have one it's a missed opportunity in my opinion..

I get no wi fi at all now in the south and none at most away games.,. tbh I thought the clubs were blocking it so just accepted it .. maybe time for a new phone

When I asked this question of the SLO last season he said that the Club was aware of the poor signal but, in the context of the Infrastructure requirements it was a long way down the list of priorities.

His comments today are interesting, given the context.

Out of interest, and apologies if I have missed it elsewhere how did the digital ticketing go yesterday
I think it's inevitable that the club will be moving everyone over to it for next season for season tickets.
If anyone wants a physical card, I would anticipate a fee.

Why not list key fixtures on back of program & letter them A-k etc then put scores on lettered boards visible to all . I thought that used to work well . Or Cut out all the naff waffle & music(no one gives a shit about whose birthday it might be) & read out half time scores .

I’m in block M and I can’t get anything even though I’ve got 4g, can’t get scores, so read out and displayed on the board would be good, unless they can sort out the problem

Got sky mobile and never get signal in the south, never got it anywhere on the prom after the game on Saturday either, I’m thick with technology and just presume too many people are on it so won’t work

EE in the North, and my watch was telling me who had been booked and who the subs were no bother. Don't use it much, but checked lineups, working normal speed.

I'm onSky too. No signal in the West.

I heard the wifi provider and sponsor went bust.

Same at all grounds, I flick on the scores mid game and there’s no problem using my own data, come half time when everyone go’s on it struggles to connect

Not just me then ? I am on Tesco Mobile which utilises O2 and in honesty anywhere from near the Tower right down to Lytham Road is really poor. My brother is on Vodafone and has no issues at all.
Mate, if i go anywhere near the town centre i may aswell just have a potato in my pocket instead of my phone 🤣
