Song for Josh Bowler??

Surely we need a song for Josh Bowler to show our appreciation for one of our best players? He was one of the best players on the pitch again on Saturday and when we go through our repertoire of songs it always feels like we’ve missed a key player out!

Any ideas from our AVFTT song writers?? 😁👍🏻

I'd stick with the old feeney chant star man, everyone knows it, its simple.

The other hardly anyone knows it and its a bit long winded for it to catch on past the north, or tbh even in the north many don't sing it.

Same as the Grealish chant, seems to be a very similar type of player as well. Easy for the fans to tag along with.
 
Ill Admit I’ve never known the lyrics to “he’s electric” and I sit in the North. Personally I really like it but fuck me if I’ll remember it on a Saturday

He’s electric is a class chant one of the better ones we got.

Short sharp and loud is the reality.

The other may be a decent but it doesn't catch on, bit long winded. The evidence speaks for itself.

Nothing wrong with using both but watch which one is sung more by everyone.

Got to agree, we want to fire him up not put him to sleep:)
 
The he’s electric version is decent but the 2 verses mean it doesn’t catch on as much. Other teams have just the one and it’s belting, Coventry sung it at BR was bouncing early this season
 
Happened again today, it just fades away at times that long chant and doesn't spread round enough.

Had we done the other chant the whole stadium would be bouncing with the star man chant.
 
It just needs to be one verse and it'll keep running. I don't like the 'scores for the pool' bit at the end either. Maybe a better lyricist can better my attempt, but I'd go for something like:

He runs down the right wing
Those defenders they don't see a thing
When he dribbles he makes the pool sing
He's Josh Bowler
 
The Josh Bowler (She’s Electric) chant only works if you’re a married man. I can’t join in cause I don’t have a wife & I can’t imagine half the kids in the north singing it have a wife either. Lyrics need work. But I like the idea.
 
It was great to hear the Josh Bowler chant today, I hadn’t really picked up on it before from block C but it’s starting to spread around the stadium! Great player Josh, that third goal was class! 👍🏻
