Start blooding some of the youngsters

What has Dobbie done to deserve such a prestigious job. It has to be earnt not just given because you happened to be in the building at the time. Not for me, go for Critchley or if not him someone with a track record, new managers can make their mistakes elsewhere not at the Pool

‘Such a prestigious job’ you mean a relegated club with very few decent players and an owner who can only be called parsimonious when it comes to new signings?

Given what that there’s a bunch of twunts who are very vocal fans on social media, do you not think the divisiveness of Critchley would be damaging?

The two teams he has lost against are both playoff contenders, a little context needed in your summation
He's absolutely inexperienced in all levels of football management. I could have gone in and made that side look better than what they were putting together.

I take your point about management experience but all managers start off inexperienced. If no one gives them a start they will never gain experience, Critchley was inexperienced. If given the opportunity he would be taking over a third division club on a downward trajectory, we are hardly Man City. I would much rather have a manager with the intention of playing the “Blackpool way” than another round of MacCarthy, they don’t come more experienced than him. No he lives in the area because he likes it, he gets the club, he knows what the supporters want. Give the bloke a chance and lets see what he can do, if we don’t and he does an Evatt somewhere else this board will be in meltdown.

I don't think we really have time for Dobbie to figure management out at League One level, Critchley struggled often until an experienced head showed him the way.

Personally happy for Dobbie to be around but think it's a mistake to give him the job full time at the moment.

And I am happy for him to have an experienced No 2, as has be suggested Thommo, who I know would come. Don’t ask me how I know, but I do, or someone similar.

I don't mind being careful with the transfer budget, Lyons is, quality and will not have, cost much, but the Stewarts, Bridcutts signing or contract extension was, a criminal waste. If a player has, had several injury issues at other clubs, it does not tale a rocket scientist or decent CEO to expect regular injuries with us.
Jury is well and truly out on Trybull and several others. Passing a single fitness test on signing should only be part of the criteria.
