Credit to Dobbie (amongst other positives) for having the balls to play Holmes. He has also made positive noises about Lankshear, and if Apter is fit, let’s hope we get to see more of them given a chance.
I think there are better options out there with Dobbie as number 2.I'd give Dobbie the job if he wants it.
There’s a bit of a fan fare around Dobbie and I hope that doesn’t sway the boards decision. He’s relatively new to coaching and I think we can get better.I think there are better options out there with Dobbie as number 2.

Really! Can't afford to gamble again id give it DobbieI think there are better options out there with Dobbie as number 2.
He's lost 2 games and won 1 and that's it in professional senior English football management?Really! Can't afford to gamble again id give it Dobbie
CritchleyWhat has Dobbie done to deserve such a prestigious job. It has to be earnt not just given because you happened to be in the building at the time. Not for me, go for Critchley or if not him someone with a track record, new managers can make their mistakes elsewhere not at the Pool
The two teams he has lost against are both playoff contenders, a little context needed in your summationHe's lost 2 games and won 1 and that's it in professional senior English football management?
‘Such a prestigious job’ you mean a relegated club with very few decent players and an owner who can only be called parsimonious when it comes to new signings? What has Dobbie done to deserve such a prestigious job. And a fair few arsey moanious supporters.‘Such a prestigious job’ you mean a relegated club with very few decent players and an owner who can only be called parsimonious when it comes to new signings?
Given what that there’s a bunch of twunts who are very vocal fans on social media, do you not think the divisiveness of Critchley would be damaging? What has Dobbie done to deserve such a prestigious job. Plus he’s had no time with players who are low in confidence and are learning yet another way of playing. The two teams he has lost against are both playoff contenders, a little context needed in your summation
He's absolutely inexperienced in all levels of football management. I could have gone in and made that side look better than what they were putting together. The two teams he has lost against are both playoff contenders, a little context needed in your summation
I take your point about management experience but all managers start off inexperienced. If no one gives them a start they will never gain experience, Critchley was inexperienced. If given the opportunity he would be taking over a third division club on a downward trajectory, we are hardly Man City. I would much rather have a manager with the intention of playing the “Blackpool way” than another round of MacCarthy, they don’t come more experienced than him. No he lives in the area because he likes it, he gets the club, he knows what the supporters want. Give the bloke a chance and lets see what he can do, if we don’t and he does an Evatt somewhere else this board will be in meltdown. He's absolutely inexperienced in all levels of football management. I don't think we really have time for Dobbie to figure management out at League One level, Critchley struggled often until an experienced head showed him the way.I take your point about management experience but all managers start off inexperienced. And I am happy for him to have an experienced No 2, as has be suggested Thommo, who I know would come. Don’t ask me how I know, but I do, or someone similar.I don't think we really have time for Dobbie to figure management out at League One level, Critchley struggled often until an experienced head showed him the way.
Personally happy for Dobbie to be around but think it's a mistake to give him the job full time at the moment.
The club should ultimately decide who they think is the best fit for our club, not the fansGiven what that there’s a bunch of twunts who are very vocal fans on social media, do you not think the divisiveness of Critchley would be damaging?
I don't mind being careful with the transfer budget, Lyons is, quality and will not have, cost much, but the Stewarts, Bridcutts signing or contract extension was, a criminal waste. If a player has, had several injury issues at other clubs, it does not tale a rocket scientist or decent CEO to expect regular injuries with us.‘Such a prestigious job’ you mean a relegated club with very few decent players and an owner who can only be called parsimonious when it comes to new signings?
