Strange to hear fans scared to go to the match

The atmosphere was actually better than the game.
And the Pool fans played their part.
I'm usually in the north but was in M, I imagine a few moved for the friendly too.

We've never really got too excited for friendlies, they don't mean anything. A half full north stand isn't going to outsing 8k pissed up jocks. Especially when we are toothless up front and in midfield.

Bit of a cheap shot that. I would say the North stand creates one of the best atmosphere's in the championship. Strange comment.
Not a cheap shot at all.
There were possibly 8000 Gers there today and it sounded like 7999 of them were singing at the time.
What was weird was the " we're the Blackpool Boys making all the noise " chant when for 75 minutes they'd been outsung.
Yeh, great fans in the Championship but today they were definitely 2nd best.
Apologies if I've ruffled a few feathers

They had been on the piss since breakfast. An away day in the sun at Blackpool. Of course they were going to make more noise.

When it comes to 'learning a thing or two about supporting their team', there are plenty of clubs fans in front of BFC fans in the queue.

OK, calm down I'm sorry.
Blackpool fans are the best 🧡👍🏻

Not sure what you were expecting?

A half full north stand, in a friendly game, isn't going to outsing 8k pissed up rangers fans on an away trip.

The north had a few moments, but thats it, was surprised it was even that loud with the gaps in it.

I was in M, usually in the north.

We've never got that into friendly games.

When it's a full stand and all the singers are there it can be special. Shame many didn't go today, but just a friendly.

Basically a money grab by the club and a success from that point.

I would have loved to see pool fans and rangers fans in a meaningful game and when were up for it. That wasn't today.

But I've said before as good as our atmosphere can be, it can be improved.

They had their ultras in the middle of the stand, so the noise spreads both ways.

If b block moved to c block...... won't happen though.

But at least we now know that the south stand can make noise, I was beginning to think it was some acoustic problem but now we know its just the fans that are in it 😉 joking south stand lot.

Some of our fans are a bit cringeworthy, let a bunch of Scottish fans come to our ground, take it over, roll over, cuddle up them, tell them they are great, buy a half and half scarf, let them take the piss and shake their hands before leaving having probably covered the north with silly stickers. Total embarrassment, glad I’m not there and watching Lancashire dismantle Hampshire‘a batting order.

Because it rangers ffs man up its a friendly against a decent team
Sat at home watching ttv with the curtains twitching
This is not aimed at fans from afar
Utter pussies
Learn to live with it, Gaz. I seems that's what our society is going, breeding a lot of "utter pussies".

loved the atmosphere today. Our fans in a half full north did very well but Rangers fans were immense and very loud. Rangers fans all around us in Kblock but not a hint of trouble. Just enjoying the game.

...
It's been a great atmosphere tbh and the North may have learned a thing or two about supporting their team.
Gers have been awesome 👍🏻
Totally agree.
Their fans were superb and were there only to support their Team without any need to try to goad the opposition supporters.
They were a credit to Glasgow Rangers.
Even when they lit flares etc (which I don't agree with) they held onto them and did not feel the throw them without a care as to where they may land, which is more than can be said about the ones from the North.
They also sang throughout the game and from what I saw, behaved themselves outside after the game.
Well done Rangers fans.

So where is all this information that fans are afraid to go to the match? Or is another loads of bollox that everyone just takes as real because someone posted it.

The new WOKE culture is to blame. It’s rammed down kid’s throats at school now.
