Stuff you were wrong about

As chufty badge chasing is well in fashion at the moment, I invite you to offer up examples of when you were wrong (you, not another poster):

Me circa 2007:

"Thing about Karl is, though he's tight as fuck, there's a lot worse out there, look at Chester and so on"

Also me around the same time

"I think Simon Wiles is going to be seriously good footballer"

That sort of thing.

The most recent one was at the beginning of this season when I thought we'd leak goals but score loads.
🎶 We're Blackpool
We're gonna score one more than you. 🎶

Recently Gnanduillet and, Feeney as players and I probably backed a couple of managers for longer than I should have.
Yep, happy with Larrys appointment. Got that badly wrong.

In the PL season, during the January transfer window, I thought "well that could have gone worse I suppose"

I thought after the new owners took over, our fans would turn out in larger numbers. I was wrong.
but for the pandemic Bloomers would of been bursting on tuesday and probably in need of a new roof after the winner

I thought Grayson would be a good option last season.
I agreed with Bowlheads stance on agents.
I applauded Rapey when he stood applauding the south paddock
I though Andy Reid would keep us in the Prem.

I thought bitcoin was a scam when I could have bought them 10 years ago when my uncle told me to pile in 😢

I didn’t chin Owen on that flight to Dubai in the lounge as he’s body guard was bigger than me

Andy Morrison when returned on loan 2nd time around, I thought was the return of the messiah, sadly he was chit.

I thought KDH was shite for the first 45 mins I saw him. "Headless chicken" was my summary just as he smacked home the first of his many screamers for us. It was almost literally as it left his foot.

Seamus had a shocking first 45 minutes for us. Had been tipped off that he was special so was getting a bit of shit at half time after I had been bigging him up pre-match.

I recall having a debate with my friend Carl Richards was a better player than David Eyres. To be fair I was young, as was Eyres

That the Oystons would never lose the club. Thank fuck I was wrong 🙏🏻

Half of this board were wrong about Neil Critchley, but they're too angry and confused to admit it. Quick to put the knife in, and slow to say they were wrong. I bet many of the muppets never even saw the games we lost. BBC / Lincoln City fanboy in the Gazette do it all for them.
Kiss my arse.

Thought we’d stay in the Prem until we went behind at Old Trafford on that fateful Sunday! I was sobbing uncontrollably at the end( I wasn’t really) but I fackin felt like it!

Not wishing to start a debate but I guess it depends what you mean about being wrong. He couldn’t really have had a worse start could he. I think one thing they were wrong about was not having faith in the chairman’s managerial staff recruitment which was addressed in excellent fashion. Sadler is running a great ship

Yep, me too. I voted for the 40,000 one when they canvassed opinion at a home game way back when.

I was ahead of my time with that one, refused to sign something going round in support of Owen's super stadium and everybody around me in the South Stand thought I was crackers.

Guilty as charged on the return of Larry but other than that I think it's fair to say I am always right about everything. 😜
