He's not, much more of a box to box CM.

Breaks up play and can win the ball back, but also progresses the ball from midfield to link play with attack.

We’re crying out for a striker of that type and whilst I’d prefer a younger player with perhaps a little more pace, Grabban would be good for a season or two whilst we find or develop that player for the long term in house perhaps.

Yep, agreed, think the first thing I think of when I heard that we were in talks with some "free agents", I thought of older, 30 year old players, but in reality those free agents we are talking to could very well be Premier League academy players who have been released.

Let's hope so! The likes of Bowler and Grimshaw a year on are worth a lot of money while also being good players for the club right now. Essentially by recruiting good young players and selling them on for a lot, with this money then being reinvested is how the club can be successful long term.
