Sunderland v Blackpool Official Matchnight Thread 04.10.22

Thompson up the left wing, gets it, turns and plays the ball backwards.

That is the entirety of his game and contribution.

Why isn't Callum ** Wright taking free kicks?

It's soo poor, we don't actually have any tactics do we? Poveda and Corbs on a wide pitch keeping the width, nah let's play with Lavery and Yates who have zero interest in being wide. It's bad.

Surprised both start on the bench - Theo was playing well Saturday , driving forward

Not looking very good on the ball are we giving it away far too cheaply at times and standing off also.

Can anybody point me in the right direction to find the game on Sky Go on a tablet. Normally comes up but I can't find it anywhere

Gotta get Patino on the ball in a more forward position. Patino needs to play in the 10 role and Dougal in the 4 - or maybe 12.

Why do we insist on playing the ball from the back when we have a defence that can’t pick a pass or deal with pressure to save their lives
