Swansea v Blackpool Official Matchnight Thread 15.02.23

This season falls in the hands of the board I’m afraid - poor signing’s in management and players (couple of exceptions) … they only have themselves to blame

Clever tactics from MM here, he's absolutely lulled Swansea into a false sense of security, they're convinced were shit so effectively they've already won in their heads! Cue the second half, Rogers and Poveda on in 10, confused Welsh people and 3 points to the Mighty!

It was pleasing to see Brad Holme back playing today, and scoring. It's easy to say give him a chance but the problem would still be creating a chance for him with one of the 80 passes that we had this half.

Switched to 5-3-2 there with Josh Bowler upfront. Jeez.

As dogshit goes that was proper dogshit.

The way they move the ball is light years ahead of our play.

Does anyone see a pattern to our play?

I’m not seeing a new Manager bounce?
Might if he were dropped from a big enough height!

Our only chance is to bring Rogers and Poveda on the pitch early 2nd half
Will he do it probably not, more likely to bring his man Nelson on!

I think Quitch saw the writing on the wall and got an escape plan in place. This isn't his fault it is all down to the 2 men at the top. Somethings not right but then that's par for the course for us
sorry pete thats bollocks . critchley clearly jumped at the chance of premiership with old mate stevie g. nothing else . yes saddlers inexperienced at running a football club and the board could do with more expertise but who else was going to buy the club or will . I do think we need a new ceo though

No changes at the break, the mind boggles. I guess we did OK for the last 2 mins, so that's prompted MM to think the turn around is on. 😔
