Oxford and Derby went out last night so ..

Bradford, Brighton U21, Wycombe, Wimbledon, probably Bolton, Posh or Crawley and us (not sure who the other tie is between).
Any of the first four at home please.

BOLTON JUST GONE THROUGH. Its now every tom dick and harriet. no doubt we will get a rubbish away . like the fa cup.

Let have a bit of luck in the draw, we don't need unnecessary long trips or the tougher opponents.

Round of 16£40,000 per win
Quarter Finals£50,000 per win
Runners Up£50,000
Winners£100,000

I think Brighton will make the final. I’d prefer Bolton. Local derby and will help our coming back from injuries players get sharp for the league which should be our priority.

Bratford Wigan or Bolton for us if we get them at home we have a good chance of going through if we draw them away we’re out

'...with fixtures regionalised until the Quarter-Final stage'- which I suppose means not after?
It depends what you class as a quarter final stage technically last night was the quarter final of the Northern section same for South.
We are now into the Quarter finals of the competition.

Seems to be conflicting info. Last year it was not regionalised in the QF as both Bolton / Pompey & Cheltenham / Salford were North v South.

Maybe they decided it was better regionalised after a one season experiment. I'm sure the clubs would prefer it. Brighton away would not be a great draw, plus the expense of getting there probably wipes out the gate receipts. A North-South final has more interest too imo.

Anyhow. QFs is regionalised as shown above but the semis is a free for all

we have a pretty good record in this competition. We seem mentally suited to knockout football. Play offs a speciality. JUST wish Cardiff was the finals venue. Best stadium for a final.
