That referee was proper shite

What have we done to deserve some of the worst referees the league can produce ,should have had 3 penalties in the first half and some of his decisions were a bit bizarre.

I don't understand the rules on handball anymore. In the olden days that wouldn't have been a handball. It's about 50/50 now.

Agree with all of this. This game would have worked well as a 'Specsavers' advert. I hope Dunn covers all this in his report on the referee.

The refs in league 1 are poor and probably all part time in other jobs. A few probably work for the blind society and also some probably won the chance to referee a game in a competition, it's the only explanation for some of the decisions.

Surely its noted who they support as it would affect them.

The Ref could have been unsighted for the penalty shouts, particularly for the handball, but the lino wasn't.

The lino flagged for just one single shirt pull all match, and that was for Bolton!

We certainly Don't ever get a 'Homer' Ref do we... I know no team should but it does happen, but it definitely doesn't happen at Bloomfield rd... In fact we seem to have had refs that go against us quite strongly..Even when we win it's 'Despite' the Ref.

Is there a process for the clubs to complain to the governing body for refs? Surely he can't be allowed to be that shit every week. If I was that bad at doing my job my manager would be all over me.

But on numerous occasions we had to wait on him running backwards 50 yards then blowing his whistle.
