The “Big” Friendly…..

Does the JD news make us even more attractive for a big game friendly?

After all in a friendly you can make lots of changes and give everyone a go.

Whoever we play it'll be massive news when he plays his first game in front of a live crowd, even a friendly.

Can imagine clubs wouldn't mind being associated with that.

Just the Jake Daniels coming out news.

What I mean is so many clubs from everywhere were sending messages of support etc.

Would a home friendly against a big side be more likely given its a friendly and with ao many changes Jake may get a run out, it'll be big news playing in front of a crowd first time id imagine so wouldn't be surprised if more clubs wanted to be associated with it.

Very much doubt if Jake would even be involved in a big pre-season game when you have Madine, Lavery, Yates and Lavery ahead of him in the pecking order.

I wonder if him becoming a well known global idol puts more pressure to pick him.

But I think in a friendly you can make so many changes he might get 10 mins.

The question posed was why can't we go to Europe pre-season. Answer: not this year but I'm sure you'll enjoy one great pre-season away day. That doesn't mean it's a big club. Could be York away 😂

w

crawley stevenage Harrogate barrow mate?
Shit forgot about Barrow 😁was hoping they got relegated😄 its Plymouth , Norwich , (don’t know why cos we’ve played them loads, probably cos it’s impossible to do them by train in one day) Harrogate, barrow and forest Green, did Crawley and Stevenage away in the One of the boycott seasons.

Is it some sort of law that you must support the club where you were born? I certainly don't as I'm not from Blackpool. Maybe I need to support my 'local' club instead. Funny how nobody EVER slates me for supporting Blackpool even though I'm not from Blackpool but had I said Man United I'd get it from all sides.

Do you have to support Blackpool because you live here?

People can support who they like. It would be a bit shit if 150,000 people support us in our 16k stadium
well said im from wolverhamton but always been a seasider 👍.

You can add Spurs, West Ham and Brentford who have all moved since we played them last.

so you don’t count them Wizz if theye moved grounds? I must admit i still do but then make the extra effort to go to the new ground when the opportunity arises

No, plus I only count grounds I've seen Pool play at. Ground hopping for the sake of it doesn't appeal.

i do try and cover them with Blackpool but if not i’m ok with doing them to tick off. We’ve been lucky in that respect that we’ve been up and down the leagues over the years.

Exactly. It's made it relatively easy to be purist about these things 😁🧡

Just checked and I'm 7 short of League grounds, none of which we've played at, with the exception of the new Plough Lane but that was behind closed doors. Went to the old Plough Lane and Kingstonians ground when they played there.

Brentford, Spurs, West Ham, Wimbledon, Sutton, Harrogate and Forest Green Rovers.

I've seen us play at 207 grounds.
