The Blackpool Public...hang your heads in shame

It's the first time the fans have had the opportunity to properly vote with their feet. Most season ticket holders will go to league matches as they've paid for it, the ones who don't go the club aren't bothered about really as they've already had their money. Today's game is people showing they're not happy with the manager and the football they're seeing, the low ticket sales say it all. This time last season if we played a Premier League team, even at 20 quid a ticket would probably have been a 10,000+ attendance. Today will probably be 7-8000 with over half away fans.

You do realise you sound like a spoilt child.

Quite a nasty and aggressive one too.

Well done to you and the o/p for being a better fan than everyone else 👍🏻
There are n better fans, we are all fans, the fact someone lives thousands of miles away doesn't make him not allowed an opinion. He's right too, but it ever was and it ever will be.

A bloke who has been to more games home and away than you will ever go to, I take you are are sat at home and live on the Fylde. There is a real hatred of people who don't go to games because of where they live or the work they do or the commitments we have. Let me tell you if myself and KKS were living in the Fylde we would be at every home game, without fail and plenty of away games too.

You sunshine are just a tiny little turd of no significance whatsoever and have no idea what you are talking about.
But he's not here today he's watching probably on a dodgy channel so he shouldn't be criticising the financially hard pressed people of the Fylde.

He will be watching on a legitimate channel over there as it is on World TV.

Do you think that's a good turn out for an FA cup game against a pre team, and I realise it is a shadow of the competition it used to be. I think people are lucky who live there still, I loved the football when I was there in any division in any weather.

It's not a great turn out I agree, but the last person to be criticising the attendance is someone who isn't here.

I'm not going to judge anyone but sitting here a long way away and having to listen to the commentary on Tangerine TV while watching the action on a link which is a minute behind, I can only envy those who are there.

Preston had a crowd of less than 7k today. No one is really arsed about the FA Cup unless you're playing a mega side. We've played Forest bloody loads over the years
Don’t think we would have sold out had it been Liverpool, City, Manure as all would have fielded weakened teams.

For fucks sake stop fighting each other ,blackpool fc is a lifetime commitment ,it does not matter if you for whatever reason cant attend ,god knows what some on here would have thought in the bad days of leagues 1 and two ,maybe start supporting the twats at the other end of the m55 would be a start, if you are not happy with things just fuck off ,

No people are just skint and it's the first week of January... Stop making everything about Appleton.

That looks a pitiful attendance!!!

Premier League opposition too, I am almost ashamed!!!

I'll tell you what, have a pint or two less or cook at home instead of a takeaway, and support the lads!!!

I'll get pelters likely but I speak from the heart!!!
The players and the manager have let their play speak for them today, against a multi million pound team.
Hopefully this will be the start of our come back
Well done boys 🧡 🍊

I just don’t get this berating of fans that don’t go to a cup game….. or any game fir that matter. Surely it’s up to the individual? not up to some holier than thou uber fan!
been to most home games this season (on holiday for a couple) and a couple of away games. Today….. I’ll be honest, I couldn’t be arsed
I would imagine a good percentage of today will have saved their ticket money, beer money and travel money for next weekend - just a guess like!

I'd have been happy to go if some kind soul had have taken on my virus. Getting better now but still not good enough for sitting outside in January for two hours.

Lighten up Karen.
We have played them 87 times and they are no big crowd puller for us.
I've watched the game at home with friends and bough 2 tickets for Watford next week instead.

Don't anyone reading this be ashamed if you could not go today.

Says a bloke retired handsomely in Thailand.

Not sure how you’ve the brass neck, to be honest.

Every credit to those who’ve gone, but so many factors to consider before you throw mud at local Pool fans for not attending a cup game on a wet and windy January, just after Xmas!
In he interests of balance :

a) he's not retired, as far as I know

b) when he did live here he used to drive up from Stevenage from every home game

Thanks Robbie, and I have seen Blackpool play on 125 different grounds too, last time I counted, not that I need to prove my supporting credentials or mileage to anyone!!

I’m with you 1966.
I am now on day 20 of flu and don’t feel any better than I did on day 1
I missed Sheff Utd, Sunderland and today’s game so I suppose both of us are just glory chasers in the eyes of the o/p
