Christ it’s a worldwide pandemic the likes of which haven’t been seen in a lifetime, every government will make mistakes. Boris has made a lot. It’s a balancing act between saving lives and saving the wider economic landscape for many years to come. Scientists will always recommend the extreme approach, they have the luxury of not having to make the decision. Economists will recommend the opposite and the government will have to try to strike a balance.
