The Next Prime Minister?

Yes, I know. If you're anything like me you'll be disgusted how the nasty media has been harassing Alexander Boris de Pfeffel. However, it looks like the dreaded Pickfords vans will soon be turning up at Downing It Street to remove his and Carries few meagre possessions.

So, who do you think would be best suited to succeed him? You never know, that proponent of free will, Novax Djokovich could be parachuted in to take the helm, provided he can supply a positive or is it negative test?

On second thoughts my money's going on a 66-1 sure bet - Jacob Rees-Mogg.

Here is a true man of the people. He had a very deprived upbringing living in that £20 million hell hole, Ston Easton Park. He had to slum it at Eton College and truly knows what hunger is as his fag once forgot to collect his tuck box for him.

He has this uncanny ability to talk to ordinary people in a language they understand, and would be an ideal leader to take the country into the 18th century.

I'm putting a tenner on him at William Hills. Easy money.

I would consider scrapping the election system and offering it to one of the giants in industry. Mr Telsa, Mr Amazon or nearer to home Brothers Asda.

People will keep voting for the best candidate as they always have. What is needed is the standard of candidates to be raised. One of the papers this morning is leading on whether Angela Rayner's lack of understanding of the English language and grammar should prevent her being a candidate for leadership. How low have the standards become when this even needs to be discussed? Surely there are good, honest leaders in this country who can speak English correctly.

As we all know, the real test of a leader is their ability to eat a bacon sandwich.

Actually I don`t think that amongst other qualities such as integrity, wisdom, and principles it`s not unreasonable for the leader of our country to actually speak "proper" and have a good command of the English language as good communication skills are a valuable asset for any leader to have.

Speak properly...

I think that she has improved as a communicator a lot over the last twelve months. I don't see why she shouldn't be a candidate for leader although I don't think that she would win the leadership contest

It seems to require charisma these days & a sense of humour, to appeal to the voters. It looks like most just vote for the leader & not the policies. That’s where Starmer is lacking.

Starmer is useless. Zero about him. This latest drama is yet another example of his ineptitude. Should've been the opportunity to eviscerate the government's whole approach to Covid including bollocks restrictions and advice which didn't work, have crippled the country and killed thousands in the process. Instead he's contrived to make the issue about the PMs integrity which in turn will ensure it becomes a storm in a teacup in no time. And yes, Starmer is also a wet lettuce to boot.

Rayner does talk like a union leader from the 70's - and I'm a council house kid!

Just shows how wrong I can be.

There was I thinking you were an admirer of him, and how you supported his views.

The least a PM should have is a veneer of integrity, even if people don't fully believe it.

This clown is brazen about the fact he's an inveterate liar.

Once upon a time, yes, but not anymore. Probably why I'm overly harsh on him. I don't like Starmer's kneejerk response to Covid which is a trap a lot of lefties have fallen into. Restrictions are automatically a good idea because RWNJs don't like them. Bias innit. Don't even get me started on the woke stuff which really is very reductive and just a brand new way of looking down on 'less refined' people.

I've never voted for a Prime Minister, only for my preferred constituency candidate in a election for the Legislature.
Nobody votes for Prime Ministers. It is an appointed post, as are all Government positions.

I see from your response that this was, indeed, made up shite from the board Goebbels

I’d love to get Ang on a night out in Manchester. I am sure she’d be cracking fun
A couple of snakebites later she’d be swearing at anyone in a tweed jacket or wearing blue 👍😁

So why can't Boris speak it then after all he has been to eaten yet all he seems to be able to do is mumble and umms and the er the er.........

🙄 Hey, Tosspotjoe, why don’t you remove your head from Scara’s arse, have the courage of your own convictions and tell us why you invented a ‘newspaper leader’ to post your pathetic views

Why don’t you grow a set of bollox and reply directly to someone coward boy.

I'm still going for Jacob Rees-Mogg.

However, I'm liking Peter Bone more and more. His moderate policies and experience in Government could make him a vote winner
