he would do. He was the lino when we played QPR at home last season when he disallowed Dougalls goal because he thought Madine had touched the ball over the line.Probably was offside and tbf to the linesman he sort of looked apologetic about it.
Can only be slightly, you can faintly ser the lines on the pitch, looks within a foot.right in line with it. Yep, clearly offside
So was I.right in line with it. Yep, clearly offside
ah was it him! tbf i thought off side at the timehe would do. He was the lino when we played QPR at home last season when he disallowed Dougalls goal because he thought Madine had touched the ball over the line.
If he was off he could have at least evened out his mess from last time the fooking plank.ah was it him! tbf i thought off side at the time
Miles?Looks miles off even at that angle.
Yeah, he's a full body ahead, miles off. It isn't an inch is it? It's a good foot or so and probably a clear gap between their last player. So, miles.Miles?
It's close, there's a faint pitch line with the different shades of rectangular grass which runs across the penalty spot aprox, parallel to the 18yard line, you can just about make it out on the other side. Their defender and the ball are beyond it and so is Yates.Miles?
In footballing terms, yep miles.Miles?
Its very close looks to me, which is what I thought and what I found with another angle on ttv full game replay.View attachment 14458
This is the closest I can get to when Connolly wins the header. It's a tight decision but I'd probably say Jerry's right foot is offside.
He turned round to look straight away and trust me all those in the west sat opposite could see it quite clearly. A direct line across makes it much clearer than that picture suggests.View attachment 14458

Said to my lads it was the lino from the qpr matchhe would do. He was the lino when we played QPR at home last season when he disallowed Dougalls goal because he thought Madine had touched the ball over the line.
Why wouldn't it? If he was off it was very marginal, I doubt a linesmen who couldn't see that our goal against qpr already being over the line, could suddenly see Jerry's toe.Wouldn't have even gone to VAR. he was off and wouldn't have put the ball in the net unless he was offside.
He was offside by a distance. imo looking at the playbacks. Why wouldn't it? If he was off it was very marginal, I doubt a linesmen who couldn't see that our goal against qpr already being over the line, could suddenly see Jerry's toe.
Both legs offside he was offsideView attachment 14458

How would you know? You dont even know the offside rules.....right in line with it. Yep, clearly offside
the dick returns. Why do you think I don't know the offside rule? How would you know? You dont even know the offside rules.....
don't know where you sit Tigger but those sitting in line with it, it was pretty clear and have said so. Those sitting at the other end of the ground or even in the north can try and make a case for it all they want but it was clear. And whereas I'm not a fan of this particular lino he called it right.I’m surprised so many think it was clearly offside
When you pause the video in the OP he looks to be at least level but on the other angle it does look offside
But certainly not as clear it as some have said
the dick returns. Why do you think I don't know the offside rule?
It's not clear at all, not like he's miles off, it might have seemed it when seen live, as happens in these situations when the striker and ball is travelling fast, before we know it he's beyond their back line in the blink of an eye.don't know where you sit Tigger but those sitting in line with it, it was pretty clear and have said so. whether you think it's close or not all those who were sat in line are telling you he was offside and it was very clear that he was. It's not clear at all, not like he's miles off, it might have seemed it when seen live, as happens in these situations when the striker and ball is travelling fast, before we know it he's beyond their back line in the blink of an eye.
But the evidence is right here on the thread, it's very close.
The assistant referee isn’t in line with the last defender in the photo above. Consequently, Yates will look even more off-side to the a.r. than he is or isn’tView attachment 14458

It's not about what I think, the evidence is clear. Seeing something for a split second is all you get in the west or any stand. This is as close to VAR as we get and on analysis its very close.whether you think it's close or not all those who were sat in line are telling you he was offside and it was very clear that he was.
i sit on the half way line so didn’t have a great live view i was offering an opinion based on highlights and photosdon't know where you sit Tigger but those sitting in line with it, it was pretty clear and have said so.
